Nobody noticed that the OP follows a rant on people being immature, lacking in manners and acting against how they would in real life by taunting their opponents with a slew of immature insults that would look equally at home coming from the exact same jerks he rails against? It kinda kills the message of "People should be more respectful" when one isn't respectful themselves.

But there ARE consequences. What you see as someone being a jerk, and wanting them to "pay for it", makes you the jackass.

If they arent threatening you, or hurting you, or causing you financial lost. Who cares.

You basically saying you want people who are jerks to get their ass kicked. *blinks* Call me crazy but that is literally the worst example of internet anonymity. We all know full well, if we were all in a bar, and some guy was like "Hey nice shirt loser" you would not kick his ass, or whine to your friends that you should have kicked his ass, or if you do actually take a drunken swing at the guy, end up in handcuffs, because the ACTUAL consequences are already laid out and self evident.

What you people are upset about is that someone can act a way you dont like, and you dont have any control over it, and wish that there was some metaphorical boot that could come down on them to make your life more pleasant and their expense.

Thats exactly the plot of 1984 :P

Youd rather them suffer, than you suffer them.

Grow up. Get a helmet.

Great, an internet moralist e-bushido crap...

Act that way fine.. don't expect others would...

You guys don't get it.

If people are allowed to be toxic jerkoffs, I am allowed to tell them what I think. This is where I can do it. It has nothing to do with e-bushido, but more to do with basic manners. You are all allowed your opinions as well, but please allow me to air my own if I so choose.

Thank you.

You're allowed to say whatever you want.

That's not a free pass on people ridiculing you for it. That's, like, the entire basis of free speech. Bad ideas are naturally selected out of the population because people will either laugh at you or call you a dingbat when you espouse them.

And I suppose you are going to tell me to turn the other cheek too. Sorry, I'm not a Christian.

No, but you rail so hard against these people who you called 'immature small dicked mental midgets' while still acting extremely immature yourself. You don't think that this might be going against the message you're trying to send?

Do you really believe that is how it works?

I think history has many examples showing the opposite. Bad ideas are just presented as sound bites and beaten into everyone's head until the majority give in. Most good ideas are eventually twisted so thoroughly to appease the common idiot that they are only good relative to their alternatives.

Are you totally devoid of humor you missed the joke?

Once again, you're still clueless.

And by the way, stop stalking me, stalker. If you had been paying attention instead of just stalking, not to mention just suddenly butting in, you'd get it. <smh>

Yeah I didn't miss the "joke" it just wasn't funny. Again I'll ask, are you capable of making a post on these forums without coming off like an absolute douchebag? Because I really don't think you are. 10k post, most of them flat out trolling. GG Close indeed.

I always say "gg" at the end of a match, win or lose, close or stomp. It's common courtesy.

Then you have the people who say things like, "no it wasn't". Trust me, it sounds like you're actually asking for my personal opinion of your performance, which is something you don't actually want to hear.

Hah I have to admit, on hearing a "No it wasn't", it's sometimes physically difficult to restrain myself from explaining to the speaker just how he contributed to the outcome.

People have a really hard time accepting personal responsibility for how matches turn out. Sure, there ARE times where it's not actually your fault, but my experience has definitely been that the guys who get all upset at a loss are almost always the same guys who contributed to it.

On rare occasions, I'd also say "no it wasn't", if I really screwed up. But I'll follow up with "still wp though".

Only condition on which I'll disagree is on a 2 minute capwin with minimal mech losses.

Oh, when we get capped, I will say "wp", because that means I myself failed to respond to a cap. I got beat in my own game. :(

I haven't seen that at all, In fact you go out of your way trying to be snarky for the sake of being snarky, you know the usual tough guy on the internet routine. It's all good every forum has one.
