What ever happened to that drinking game when ever someone asked for a new mech? Was it too negative for the forums? I bet thats what happened.

I already play lots of other games. I've recently started playing Fallout NV again, as I never actually beat it or any of the DLCs I bought except Dead Money. So lots to do there still. Fallout 4 isn't going to change that, but I'm definitely going to get it as soon as I can.

Old World Blues is supposedly the best of the New Vegas DLCs.

Let me guess its all in the season pass. you don't have to tell me. I already know Angry Joe had the same suspision and I watched his video but I bought it anyway. Because its a Starwars Battlefront we didn't have for years anyway.

You cant really prove it anyway because of getting your friend fired. Your friend wasn't supposed to say anything anyways its called a non-disclosure.

He was pretty heartbroken, really. Had a lot of great stuff to say about DICE and the lead on it used to work for CCP (who made EVE) for a long time and was really open to big ideas and ambitious design stuff. Better than you normally see on an EA project which anymore means 'do something that's already been done and people will pay for'. He spoke well of the team, by and large. Just that a lot of it got cut out for expansions or just left out. It happens.

I hope you enjoy it. I am probably have more friends among EA programmers and content creators than anyone in EA management. They're all Star Wars nerds.

Bethesda is a phenomenal company, they sell low quality game (decade old engine, horrible animation, no story whatsoever, horrible art, black and white "role play") somehow get millions of sales and then successfully repeat the same process without impoving the game at all.

Never thought someone could become successfull by butchering such a promising IP.

Refunding it on steam now. Silly me, what was I expecting...

I think its ok for what it is you just have to look past the graphics because its an open world. Its going to be hard to make everything look pretty in an open world game it takes more memory like a certain game we play.

You can't look past that, when art, story and roleplay is what are you looking for.

Morrowind had a story, a very good one IMHO.
Skyrim had a story, even though it was a mixed bag, Dawnguard had idiotic plot, while the civil war (at least that part I saw) was pretty cool, with no good guys-bad guys division (or rather good guys and bad guys could be found on both sides), questionable motives of both sides of the conflict and little people thrown in between, brother against brother. Much better than the main plot.

When you say Morrowind do you mean with or without the expansions? What you think about the Morrowind Expansions also you didn't even mention Oblivion.

I meant mostly the main game. About morrwind expansions:
- the one on the Soltsheim - nothing special as far as I remember.
- the one in the Capital city - pretty good, I liked the twist with the false "God of Mercy" going insane after decades of slowly loosing powers etc.

I didn't mention Oblivion because it had terrible excuse for a story. I hope you didn't assume I was some kind of Beth fanboi or something. I hate them for what they did to Fallout, or rather for what they did not.

Oblivion? *yawn*

Oblivion had great gameplay, especially with the deadly combat mod... but... the story was bad. The Oblivion gates sucked.

The only TES game I've beaten is Morrowind and I've played every single one. Even Arena, while neat, was a shallow version of Ultima Underworld with a big world. My memory isn't cloudy. I played through Ultima Underworld II again last spring. If you want a plot--it had a fantastic one. The music was a little annoying (compared with the first) but the story and how it changed was really good.

I just started that dlc, but I haven't gotten very far. I think I'm pretty well stuck until I get the frequency that disables force fields.

I only got the intro done this morning (and I'll be doing it again) The story is fine. It let's you see the before the apocalypse and appears to set up a good arc initially.

Combine that with an open world with no level cap?@! Pure win.

Make your own story. But if you need the story on rails, ********** to the 1023012310231 other games that do that to you?!?!

I had no idea! You mean for real? I mean sure it is going to cause Alchohol poisoning but I wouldn't think that people are that stupid to do it for every mech.

Fallout 4 almost certainly has its flaws (waiting to play it right now)

But this is piss-poor criticism right here. Whatever you do don't give up your day job and attempt to become a journalist.

Gebus H Cripes. I feel REALLY old/clueless.

Read through this entire topic and I have no clue what any of the games mentioned are or how they play. The fact that some are so savvy as to know the particular characteristics of not just the games but the companies that make them, just boggles me.

I only discovered MWO last year when I searched for ways to get MW-3 to boot on a windows 7 machine. Last video game I bought was Civilization 4 (still playing Mods occasionally). Before that was probably the original Unreal (though I did get Bioshock as a present some years ago). Don't know where I would find the time to play anything more.

So guys, is Fallout 4 really as bad as the reviews are saying on steam?
