Your particular(ly well made) insignia is from the 4th Regulan Hussars, rather than the parent formation. I had a whole rant about the parent's design earlier. Good job.

Basically, I wanted to create a roundel for the CCAF. However, it had to be more than just another rehash of the traditional arm-waiving-sword. So, I stepped it back, got as basic as I could, and came up with this symbol:

It is made up of a scant three shapes: an "arc" symbolizing a sword, an "L-shaped" polygon, symbolizing an arm, and a triangle symbolizing the confederation. And negative shapes throughout create more triangles. I'm pretty damn happy with it

EDIT: So i came up with an insignia design that I thought was pretty classy and original... and then as I lay in bed falling asleep, it occurred to me...

Darn it, House Imarra! Darn it.

Glad you like the stuff, Balls. That said, the Imarra insignia actually _is_ different, I just meant that mine wasn't as cool and original as I first thought

I just encourage you to keep in mind that the Battle Standards are all conjectural (I.E. made up), aside from the big one on top of the page, so don't get too attached. Honestly, I don't even know if that ancient depiction is even canonical anymore.
