Yeah everyone should be running low spec smoke and particles. Theyre screwed up. Its not our fault, its PGIs.
Theres a problem with their sprites and ATI cards. Problem with particles and Nvidia cards.
Its definitely an advantage to not lose 30FPS when overheating smoke starts to emanate from your cockpit, and you back up. Nor should I be blinded by AC2s because PGI cant make a translucent sprite.
And theyre not exploits.
Youre basically saying, well this Basketball team and this Basketball team are evenly matched, but this team all went out and bought really nice sneakers.
If thats the edge that puts them over the top, well, the other team should buy some better damned sneakers, because thats a horrible reason to lose.
I paid alot of money to have a mouse that I can program to keep a button held down. Not that I use TAG, but if it wasnt useless, id be using my mouse to keep the beam on all the time. Why on earth WOULDNT you do that? I have a 47 inch monitor, do we want to cut that down to 30 because its not fair?
Theres a difference between exploits, and fine tuning.
Now if you make a SweetFX profile that makes terrain textures solid block colors, yeah thats probably an exploit.
Obviously if you did a number of third party things, those are exploits.
But even the CPL on site tourneys let you program a mouse the way you want. Its 2015. If MWO doesnt let you properly mess with X and Y mouse accel and sensitivity, (you can in the cfg file) why wouldnt you use your mouses software control panel to fine tune it?
