i didnt start throwing a fit, till i realized half way through what was happening.
And you view throwing a fit is a reasonable course of action?
I notice that you failed to address the insulting and name calling you engaged in as well?

You had already won, very much so.
We knew we had won during the loading screen. We didn't go out of our way to find a skittle drop. We were trying to work with a team from another unit in taking a planet for our current faction. That is the whole point of Faction Play, war between factions. If that isn't what you are interested in, then I highly suggest you stick to the quick play section of the game.
For the rabid anti-unit nuts out there, our next drop we shifted to defense on the Steiner border in order to find a full MS team. We got a 10-man match and had a great time beating them in a close duel.

I just had a hard time comprehending that there would be folks out there who would rather humiliate the other team, for a couple of extra cbills, then be a pro about it and end the obvious slaughter.
And how many of your team mates would have been happy to get less then 100 match points for the stocking stuffer event? Did you even ask them what they wanted? Or is this all about what YOU think Faction Play should be and how YOU think other players should play this game?
We destroy all of our opponents mechs because it allows our team members to afford more mechs and modules, just as it allows our opponents to get more c-bills than simply losing in one wave.
I'm fairly confident that you are too new to this game to even recall when light rushing objectives was a thing during phase 1. My unit got to be very, very good at ending a CW match in under 3 minutes. You should have heard the wailing of tears from solo's that couldn't get enough points for events occurring at that time.
Seems like we are damned if we do and damned if we don't. So, we choose to do.

Have you ever taken a moment and think or examine what your farming of pugs does to them?
Have you ever taken a moment to think what your being a perpetual PUG does to the quality of matches in Faction Play? Stop trying to get this mode turned into just another Quick Play. The lack of discipline and coordination in matches made up of randomly assorted players makes me cringe.

You needed to know that its a massively negative feeling that makes me want to never come back.
I've said it before and I'll say it again here. Far too many players of this game failed to learn how to win and lose graciously as children. Someone who was properly taught how to compete as a child should be capable of dealing with losses and should not be experiencing "massive negative feelings."

i was trying to adequately express to you and your team how i was feeling at the time, and throwing an over the top fit was the only way (turns out i was right here you are)..
Temper tantrums do attract attention. That's why young children throw them. I'm not sure I would be trying to justify such a behavior in an adult, however.

HOWEVER notice when i started, in no way did i claim we had a chance. Noticed how i gave your team all the credit you had coming to you (skill wise you folks were amazing no doubt). And notice i in no way tried to name or shame.
No. You were trying to get attention and draw sympathy from others.

I was just trying to get you folks to realize the effect you are having on the pugs.
Having attained over 70 ranks in all ten factions (including rank 20 in Kurita), I've dropped several thousand solo CW drops. I've gotten my head handed to me an many, many occasions. During the "map" event, where you had to get wins on all the different maps, I dropped over thirty times in a row before I finally got Hellebore Springs. I was solo pugging and it was my last map to finish all the challenge levels, of course my opponents were a 12-man of NKVA. I laughed at the irony, joked with them on chat and then got my behind spanked hard. Never did get that achievement and I never threw a fit or created a forum thread to try to draw sympathy!

The only shot i had to get any kind of message through your heads is to throw an over the top tantrum.
Little kids throw tantrums to get attention. They are not teaching tools and any functioning adult should know that.

And it worked. The match is long over, and you still remember. i had no expectation of winning, or even doing great. just decent. And you decided to not only win the match, but humiliate me in the process. Is this what you wanted?
You humiliated yourself by throwing a tantrum.
Losing at a video game or any sort of game can only be considered humiliation if you have too much of your ego or self worth tied to your success. Once again, this is something you should have learned as a child.
