I would agree with it IF PGI put in a timer that after 2 mins if you are still hiding in the drop zone you self destruct and self report for each instance in that game and face actual penalties. Folks whine about the que time and how they don't want to get farmed out in spawn, well guess what the other team waited in que as well and really would prefer not to fight Ol "Dropship Dan" with his 2 sec recharge 12 ERLrg laser fire because you prefer to hide in spawn instead of just comming to fight. So next time you throw a suggestion out there to screw one side and protect the other, try to make it a balanced suggestion that does not only help the side screaming the loudest.

Only thing is there are actually teams that will troll you and waste your time for 30 minutes by non-participation and sit in the dropzone. If there was no way to get that them, you would be forced to sit and wait that 30 minutes as well.
The Irony of this would be delicious. Imagine a force field around the drop zone that will not allow fire either into or out of this area.
Instead of the puggers being farmed relentlessly by the Organized group, they sit in the drop zone and talk about "stuff". Essentially the mirror image of pug farming, except it would be Group kill denying. The gnashing of teeth by those denied their easy kills would be amazing.
Cries of "fix it, they won't play our game" and "This is ridiculous" would be heard over every comm available.
Somewhere in this thread I missed a comment about Groups having to wait for a match too, but isn't it set up so that Groups jump to the head of the queue and get matched up faster?

Exactly, CW was never meant to be a place for folks to run around as 12 individuals and do what took their fancy. It was meant as the end game for teams to have competitive matchs and play as teams / factions.
PGI has went to some lengths to tell Pugs before they drop into CW it's at a higher leverl, I'd be happy if you could not play until you had at least a full drop deck that you owned and no trials, that would help alot to keep the truly "new" players from getting stomped on.
That's true, but the Organized Groups refuse to accept that they NEED pugs to fill out the game. As pointed out in several threads many Groups intentionally "harvest" PUG drops to maximize their points, avoid fighting each other and prefer clubbing seals and "winning" rather than risking losing.
So when the PUGs start to complain, the Groups get their backs up and tell them to L2P or get out of CW it's "high level end game sorta stuff". Shortly thereafter you hear the same people complain about the lack of players in CW,
As far as the OP being a whining complainer, he's admitted it, but how many times have people encountered the same type of bad behavior from players in a group who insult and demean the opponent? LOTS. The pot is calling the kettle black here.

I've seen plenty of CW matches of 12 singles in an unorganized team against one another. The mode is quite a *********** and is the opposite end of the spectrum from the organized 12 man groups. Everyone only likes to bring up these 12 man versus singles games because they're the mid-ground where the use of tactics shows the difference between 12 mans and unorganized drops.
I remember people whining to remove 12 mans from public queue and let them have CW to themselves, now its flipped and people are complaining that they aren't wining against ORGANIZED 12 mans while pugging in CW? This community is ridiculous.

Pugs demanding a game mode designed for competitive players cater to them specifically, interesting.
So is the thought of 12 mans complaining about the lack of players for good CW matches when they do everything they can to make the first introduction to CW be a crushing blow. I say give the 12 mans back CW and block any group smaller than 6 players from CW.
Then, sit back and watch.

The idea that WE the community need to fix CW and not PGI continues to confound me.

I play with rl friends in a very small unit. My most entertaining matches were when a mix of small units and puggers met each other. Sure, there is now and then where you wish certain people to hell
CW is a paradox mode anyway.
It supposedly caters to large units yet...
- If there are no puggers the mode is dead, yet PuGers are called out and told to gtfo
- Large units try to avoid each other - so much for being competetive
- You gain nothing from being loyal to one side - quite the opposite
^^^ Look! another Nail!^^^
