Seriously if you think that a practised, co ordinated team has little advantage, tech aside, to a pug group, then you know nothing about competition or indeed fairness or balance within a competitive game.
And btw buddy, most of the players in premades from these 228s etc etc ( not singling out 228 brothers) ive found to be well, ordinary alone or in small groups, ive played them in the past, these guys ive outplayed/outscored as others have done to me.
But honestly if you really beleive that been in an organised group playing vs a pug group in a game is not a big advantage then really i dont understand you people and cant take you seriously.
Had my say and will leave it at that, i concede, Organised tems dont have advantages over pugs and its totally fair.
There i admitted it you won the debate.
Peace in our time.
The point is WHY they have an advantage -
they are not using superior tech or game mechanics that you have to get or buy to use, they are using coordination, nothing else.
I'm all for splitting pug/group queue. The two should not be merged. I'm all for adding CW maps/modes to both pug and group queues.
The problem is that splitting CW into pug/group eliminates the basic concept of CW: a war between factions. No matchmaker, you're fighting on behalf of your faction against another faction and whoever plays best wins. Be that by personal skill or coordination. All gloves are off.
The moment you attempt to use a matchmaker, like splitting pug/premade, you eliminate that aspect of it. Now it's two queues with points to earn. May as well just add a leaderboard to pug/group queue and chuck the map, mercs, etc.
This has been gone over. Repeatedly. I get that some people don't care if CW is pointless and just want it to be another set of maps/modes for pug/group queue. Great! Add them to pug/group queues! Quit trying to destroy CW in the process! Y'all can have the curated experience and never have to play against someone who's doing anything better than you and pretend that doing exactly what you've always done is 'getting better' or whatever floats their boat!
The promise of CW however is a war simulation without all the hand-holding. Sure, it's got tons of issues. So does pug/group queue. It does not need **** on until it's just like pug/group queue though. If it's not an experience that appeals to some people let them stay in what they already have.
