Pixie has better engine cap, hardpoints, ECM/MASC capabilities, and probably hitboxes while the poor Vindi sits in the corner and cries.

Like you, I've almost knocked out my hit list of Unseen... just need the Stinger, Wasp and Crusader now...

I only count 6 weapon hardpoints on every variant (well, one variant with just 5)...that's hardly power creep considering all of the other crazy hardpoint counts in the game, even for other mechs of the same size (e.g. Blackjack)...
EDIT: Okay now I see the one variant that gets 8 energy. That's an outlier though, and even the BJ has an 8-hardpoint variant already.
I'm not disagreeing over whether the Pixie beats the Vindi or not, I guess it's just a matter of the Vindi setting the bar so low...

IIRC we got 12 Mechs - 4 of which were CBill accelerated versions - in the Project Phoenix Packs for 'only' $80.
While the base pack is 'only' $20 (without a CBill accelerated Mech) it feels like PGI are getting very greedy now with Mech Packs. I hope it doesn't backfire on them.

Did you miss the 8 energy one, though I did miss that it lacked JJs. Still, 6E and ECM capabilities still poops on the Vindi's hardpoints. Though some variants will suffer from lack of space (2B/1E arm with hand actuators), it is still given better hardpoints than the Vindi ever got
PGI wtb extra missile hardpoints on the Vindi, plox.
I guess the hardpoints aren't that much better than the BJs, but at the same point it has a lot of other advantages (like no poor dubs).

ECM
5 medium lasers
129 (142kph)
full armor
3 jump jets
I think we have a winner.

The 100 ton Kodiak that cost the same as a 60 ton Rifleman should have been a clear indication that they weren't adjusting pricing for these guys like that.

High engine cap does not make up for the fact most of the variants are a hodge podge of 3-4 energy and 2-3 ballistic hardpoints. 1 gets 8 energy which is nice while another gets 6 and ECM, which is also nice. The rest of them are not worth mentioning.
I'm happy a lot of people finally get this thing, I know its anticipated....but meh.

Having said that, the hardpoints on the PXH-1 is a little on the disappointing side; maximum of 8 jump jet capacity is nice but was hoping it would get 1 more ballistic hardpoint so it could load a 4th Machine Gun.

What hardpoint inflation?
These actually remind me a lot of my poor, beleaguered Shadow Cats - outside the jetless and thus joyless 1K (god damnit, Combine!), it looks like pretty strictly six weapon hardpoints per variant. Some minor inflation, yeah, but half of it ends up as ballistic inflation for machine guns.
The PHX-2 is the far-and-away winner, of course. 6E w/ECM, six jets, and a holy-hell engine cap means you can configure it a number of different ways on the Mobility/Firepower slider bar. Imagine hex iML with as much engine as it can get away with and the meta-requisite two-and-only-two jump jets will be the go-to.
The rest of them, though? Not nearly as impressive outside the WTFBBQ 355 engine cap. And of course the PHX-1K trying to compete with the BJ-1X for Tiny Tiny Beamvomit, but I'd much rather have ECM and jet capability than the last two energy hardpoints on the K. The 1, the 1B, and the 3S are all pretty starved for useful hardpoints, and the Roc is basically 3E/2M (and if that hardpoint layout is junk for the Shadow Cat with Clan guns, I doubt it'll fly on the Pixhawk). Kuroi Kiri makes out a little better with 4E, but still isn't a powerhouse.
Tons of double AMS, though, including both Heroes. If AMS is ever good, Pixhawks will be good at AMS.
Kinna stinks, really. I mean don't get me wrong, I really enjoy Shadow Cats (and perhaps this new Power Draw System will constrict megalphas enough that both Cats and Hawks will actually be less suck in comparison)...but I also drove Shadow Cats enough to know that these things are going to be severely wanting for punching power.
They look fantastic, though. I will be very upset if the modelers screw this one up.

Of course I'll get the base pack.
Maybe the Collector's for the (S) model and Youngblood. The -1 is as expected, -1B looks solid (kind of wish it could be upgraded to a (S) model for another 20$) and the -1K at least has a lot of E hard points. But I'm conflicted as to the rest of them.
Why do I need the Reinforcements?
The PHX-2 is the PHX-1B with more E hard points. Is that such an advantage?
The PHX-3S has MASC. Thus far, I've tossed the MASC system off my Wolverine and simply used the tonnage for a bigger engine. Why would I pay 15$ for early access to these two chassis? (right, they might get great quirks, but none of us can see those yet)
Is either Hero worth it?
I love the PHX-R paintwork, but why would I get it over an (S) model? What does it offer that the (S) can't do?
On the PHX-KK - why would I get this 'mech at all? Potential PPC quirks? (snicker)
Just curious if I'm missing something or if PGI needs to tempt me with more temptation.

Vindi was already sitting in the corner and crying though so...
Not sure if the power level is actually moving up or not as far as 45 tonners go.
Am I missing anything special about the Kuroi Kiri? The ROC at least has the missiles which makes it interesting, the KK just seems mildly different than the others.

Then, as it gets closer to release they'll remove the early adoptor bonuses so anyone who was on the fence about it will hop off the fence and not buy since they will miss out on 24.5 million CBills worth of stuff from the packages.
But, hey, the Nostalgics will eat this up.
