To put it right:
Decals would be OK, but there would have to be more many of them, so that there is at least a chance for most of the people to find an interesting one among them and actually use it.
This way they are very specific and not at all interesting. Rather ugly even, but that is a personal opinion. That only two specific ones are too little to be worth something is not.

Wait, what? No ECM or MASC or UAC variant? I was expecting at least one to be here. And all have hand actuator... No AC20 or 2xUAC in hand with xl... Not really interested...

@GweNTLeR - no Bushwacker, as far as I am aware, ever had ECM or MASC. I can't see why you couldn't fit UACs on them but you may be right about an AC20 - depends on how many critical slots there are. I think I'll just slap an LBX-10 on it and shotgun people - not as good as the LB-X Autocannon/20 it could carry in MW4 days, but we can't have everything we want in this world.

As long as it's tough, I can live with it being undergunned and slow :D

You can look at the preorder page-critical slots are listed there. I'm talking about 2*UAC in hand- I prefer it being there (better DOM and convergence). LBX-10 edition might be OK, but will heavily depend on quirks.

Man....Bushwacker.... love this mech. Be my favorite IS 55t. We go way back I'm sure alot of you all go way back with this fella too. I want to break my wallet for it. I swore I'd never spend money again until I see something new in terms of content..... but man.... the Bushwacker..... i love it more then I loved the whammie and marauder... i think pgi has finally found my kryptonite. Dam you PGI. Dam you..... but I shall resist until closers to the release date. Pre-ordering for decals isn't worth that much to me.

Guess I'll get them all when the time comes.

Artwork looks sexy. Let's hope the actual mech in game looks just as sexy too. If it is as tough as that little 50t crab. Thumbs up. Quirks or not I'll still get it. Cant depend on quirks all the time. Just gotta muster up and hammer thru the pain.

no need to get wet pants for the Bushwacker, great looking Mech but there is PGI ghost behind it so better off waiting for CBills release.

model's scaling seems a bit... off. same thing we saw with Marauder - arms are a tad tight to the body, legs should shorter? this thing looks like it would tower over a 50t Nova

I'm going to hold off, I need to see if PGI is going to develop the game.

These mech packs are getting annoying, lets see some CW development that gives me incentive to play again.

Got Mine! A fast hard hitting medium for the Inner Sphere. Nice. Hoping to fast flank with this, though no Jump Jets may make that a bit of a challenge. Multiple ballistic hard points and 10 tons more than the Blackjack chassis...

The Bushwacker jack of all trades master of none. Sorry not for me i'm not gonna spend real money on this. First I already own plenty of 55 tonners with similar performance characteristics.Second like I did with Maulers I will have to downgrade to standard engines to stop getting killed when I lose a side torso.

How about some more lights the Mongoose or the Mercury or the Fire Moth/Dasher would be nice I might buy those after all there are only 3 sub 30 tonne mechs available atm.

Quads where are the quads? I'd love a Scorpion, Tarantula or Goliath!

Come on at least produce mechs that bring something new to the battlefield.

How about some new weapons? Arrow IV, the other sizes of innersphere ER Lasers, LBX, UAC and Streaks. Shouldn't take you too long to code those.

Guessing they dropped modules because so many people complained about needing to unlock them with GXP. It's the bushwacker so sold anyway.

Yeas your probably right, there is the fact that newbs can't use the modules.

To be honest, dont know what to do. I was so excited yesterday, but now Im not sure.
Im afraid of quirks and hitboxes.
Time will tell

I seriously would let either of those issues sway my view on it, you either like it enough or you don't.

The Bushwhacker was for me the best of a bunch of so so mech from MW3, its really a slightly better Shadow Hawk in another body, with weapons system slightly improved because of Ferrous and Endo plus DHS. My attraction to that game was the ability to kick clan ***.

Jesus. The amount of salt over a pack's contents in here is ridiculous. Buy it or don't.

That being said, glad to see the ole' wacker back in the game.
Hopefully, the geometry makes it a viable option for pugging or groups.
If not those XL's sell for a decent amount =P

OK so the downsides: Decals, I am not a keen I tried to like them but they are meh. I feel that cosmetic customisation is something I can buy myself and it is not really a reward for purchasing. So I would have preferred modules

There is nothing wrong with the Mech itself, It looks like a Bushwhacker and I love the detail. Hitboxes will always be adjusted we are such good complainers. Now do I want another medium? Is it sufficiently different to the others I have? Do I think it is cool?

I think the answers to all of those is yes. So I think it is at least a purchase

Will buy. And good thing that all lore models are in cheap pack. Posted Image

Ohhh, nooooo!!!

The sensible part of me knows I've allready spent way to much money on this game. It knows the rewards is not on par. It knows the mech will most likely not be the greatest. It knows I'll be able to buy it for ingame currency soon.

Then again. The other part of me just knows it's a Bushwacker.

I really don't understand it. As the game ages and players gradually drop off, the pre-order bonuses seem to ramp down, instead of upwards as incentive to the existing player base. A couple modules, like there used to be, would have been nice.

Also, decals *to me* are a way to personalize your mech. Everyone running around with the same deckles from a pre-order, just placed differently just isn't that appealing.

Anyway, none of it is a factor, I'm still on the "not shelling out for mechs since quirk nerfs continue smashing my old purchases" bent :-/

Nice looking mech though.

Probably their intent...i mean it does look like the toy.

I had this toy when I was a kid. I have been waiting for this 'mech for years. I like the hero a bit more with you pointing this out.
