I say that due to the games we all have been hit with over the last few years of...oh this game is the best and that one is the best ever made but yet when you go to play it ...uh ok why isnt this in or that in yet it is listed as being in there yet you hear oh will be in next patch..and places like gamespy give ludicrus high marks for them with nary a word of negativity to it.
The only ones that would really not do their homework would be the kids and well to be brutally honest from what little we know of MWO so far well most of the kids today do not have the attention span to learn this game.

Well, after the way "game reviewers" all raved about a bugged WoW clone..... AKA Star Wars the Old Republic, their opinions can pretty much die in a fire. They have LESS than 0 credibility in my book. They rated that garbage 10 out of 10 after playing it?.....but want to talk trash about a game they haven't even tried?

It doesn't look like and feel COD / Modern Warfare and I've never played Mechwarrior before DDDUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........ I shall write an impression that I think it's boring.
It's people like him that keep publishers conservative and scared of innovating. Total troll that should be fired.
Bribe taking, biased reviewing *****
Three cheers to Ben for being the first reply to the thread on GS! Amazing how the author starts out by saying he didn't play it much and doesn't get it so it looks bad...
...but, to be fair, there are actually audiences that have a different opinion than us ancient mechwarrior veterans

Perhaps I should become one myself if writing crap that doesn't even take 2 mins to write based on info that came from a video that didn't even last 2 mins is all I have to do...

Wow, my first post in gamespy ever

I've never used their site prior to reading this thread but have used their programme to play MechCommander 1 when I was much younger. Signed up for a Disqus account just to make that post

I think I would go.a long way for the better of the game if they scrapped many of the childish sounds in the game like the pew pew laser sounds and replaced it with brutal war like sounds
This is an example of what what lasers and missles should sound like to give a serious brutal felling

The feel of the game needs to be grimmed up a bit too.

I could care less as Gamespy is dying source of reliable information that caters to whom ever pays for the most ad space. Newer gamers will get the mech fever and stick with the genre just as they have in the past.
