Here's my votes. Everything that caught my interest*. My apologies for the wall of text. Sarna links are there for better reading.
IS Side, I'm all for more SLDF 2750-era mechs.

1*. Nightstar, http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Nightstar
This is the only mech in this entire poll I actually want and the only one that would open my wallet. The NSR-9J runs dual Gauss stock and does not suffer from low-slung arms like the King Crab does, it also has a good ammo load(5 or 6 tons). The NSR-9FC has a VERY large engine and a decent-ish brawling config, and the -9SS also has good brawl load and jump jets. An IS LB-X AC/20 is too large to be arm-mounted in the current system, but maybe we could get 'weapon slots' in the fashion of fixed structure and armor of the Clan Omnimechs. I have no idea if that would work, correct me if I'm wrong.

2. Javelin, http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Javelin
It's a versatile 30 ton light, the article on Sarna has an official config for nearly every light role we've ever done in MWO: Splatboat, Streakboat, laserboat, ECM scout, and more than one of them has jump jets. With all those configs, we would not need PGI variants.

3. Crusader, http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Crusader
Many current tech variants negate the need for PGI variants, implementing a few new weapons (IS ER Lasers and Streaks)would open up even more. Jump Jets are here too, the only thing I didn't see was ECM. I don't care about Heavy Gauss Rifles, MML's, Plasma Cannons, etc. All I want are IS ER Lasers, Streaks, LB-X AC's, Ultra AC's, Light Engine. Well bargained and done.

4. Other: Wyvern, http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Wyvern
Again, many current tech variants eliminate the need for PGI variants. This also opens the possibility of the Wyvern 2C, also 45 tons. I imagine it would have better hitboxes than the Blackjack does, the Wyvern doesn't have wide side torsos. ECM and Jump Jets are present, again I reiterate the IS weapon selection from above.

Clan Side
1. Fire Moth (Dasher), http://www.sarna.net...re_Moth_(Dasher)
Complete the Clan Invasion set. Those nice high mounts are wanted too. I could, grudgingly, accept having a top speed different from straight canon, I could, also grudgingly, accept not having MASC.

2. Locust 2C, http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Locust_IIC
Even though many variants have Futuretech, I'd like to see a second Clan 2C light to go with the Jenner 2C. As long as some of the variants are from true canon, I can accept PGI variants. I don't care about Heavy Lasers or ATM's, I'm ok with the current Clan weapon selection.

3. Pouncer, http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Pouncer
40 ton Adder? You've got my attention. Viper with almost twice as much weight for weapons? Sure. Jump Jets? Check. ECM? Don't care. It has 4 Invasion-era configs, that's good enough for me. I'd be ok with 1 or 2 PGI variants here.

4.Other: Conjurer (Hellhound), http://www.sarna.net...urer_(Hellhound)
Even though the original art is counted among the Unseen, I still would like to see it. The Reseen art isn't much better, I'm actually hoping for the Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries redesign. I think that version looks FAR better than any of the older artwork. It's not an Omnimech, so fixed equipment doesn't apply here. Most variants have Heavy Lasers, so heavy compensation by PGI would be required. They've already created most of the 2C variants that exist in MWO, but I'm tolerant of that.

No Whitworth or Valkyrie for the I.S. list? Wouldn't be bad to have a few more options in the 40 and 30 ton weight ranges.

The NSR 9SS can run the LBX20 because it loses both hands and lower arm actuators which free up the slots.

Indeed... Well I suppose that variant would just use regular AC20s and ammo instead.

or they could just drop the 11th critical - does it make any sense at all? Look at the LB10X - 1t less and 1crit less.... how stuff like this made it into CBT is still a wonder for me.
There is a reason we need to break with CBT for the better of MWO

I'm pretty sure at this point PGI is refusing to change tonnage and crits out of fear of people throwing a fit. If they change the LB 20-X stats now, then people are going to rage because they changed it, and they're going to rage because they didn't change the stats on other weapons that needed it for years. A classic no win scenario.

Too bad they can't make crit splitting work to avoid this whole issue. Until then, most of the fun LB 20-X IS builds and variants aren't possible either way.

Don't take this poll too seriously.

It doesn't even have the Scorpion in it!

Now I really am worried, especially given how some of the least useful mechs are at the top of this poll.

Guess those inclined more towards Clan mechs can continue to gather the precious resource that are the Inner Sphere baby seal tears.

What a nice way to say "Inner Sphere pilots want hot garbage and mechs that aren't even legal due to era and usable weapons."

Seriously though, why is the Uziel even in there? The only reason I can think was to entrap IS players so that, at a later date, the thread maker can dangle this poll around and bludgeon anyone who wants to stick to a logical time constraint over the head with the fact that Inner Sphere forum goers apparently want to skip ahead as well.

But there's only one user I can think of that would want to do...

Oh.
