I think most people who think about it realize that the Hollander is going to be junk in play.

Hoping for the Crusader.

I think that came because the Wasp is unseen and the Menshen is an omni haha.

Templar and Sunder still made his list!

I highly doubt people who voted for Hollander cared about whether it is junk or good.

I mean, it can be good, if it is given some quirks..

When I do this stuff, I try to find the highest voted mech in each category. Normally, I would agree that the Men Shen should be on the list. I mean it has MASC variants and one variant has ECM with MASC (MSI-OC). I can see this mech rivaling the Black Lanner since both are 55 tonners. I mean more people are in favor of the Dervish instead of the Men Shen despite already having the Hellspawn, which was meant to replace the Dervish in the first place.

Look at this, I can't argue with numbers:
Dervish - 330 votes
Men Shen - 327 votes

Yeah... I don't know then. Don't judge he has a lot of inner conflict!

Anything can be quirked into usefulness. The Hollander just needs the stronger quirks than the most quirked mech in the game by a large margin.

sadly... I mean the Hollander is just bad... even at 45t... and yes, you can replicate the 45t Hollander in MWO by using the ROC....

Given this whole unseen fiasco, we will probably see the Stone Rhino (Behemoth) or Fire Moth (Dasher) if they figure out the speed.

Anything over the Howler, tbh.

I wonder if PGI is going to bother with the Stone Rhino since FASA ironically didn't throw that mech into the unseen category out of panic. Can I please go back in time and b*tch slap who ever made these decisions out of sheer stupidity?

From Sarna.net : "The Stone Rhino (Behemoth) and Matar are loosely based on the HWR-00 Destroid Monster Mk. II, with the Stone Rhino's "5" variant being a more direct homage to the design."

If we ever did get the Stone Rhino I will be eyeing up variant 3 since it's somewhat of a homage to my pet mech on steroids. I've had alot of victories with the stock load out of 3 over at Proving Grounds on the Battletech Hungarian site. It's a pretty scary and solid mech.

I'll always welcome the FireMoth since I think it's the last clan invasion mech that hasn't made it to the game yet. I don't really care if it gets a speed nerf since the in game models itself would be useful on TT sim and for 3D print outs.

Literally anything would be fine with enough quirks, but expecting enough quirks in this current day and age is the first step on the road to disappointment.
