Just realized we still don't have a Clan Jade Falcon assault mech in this game. Kind of a shame...

We have 1 70 ton Omnimech, which is filled with flaws and in no way competes with the role of the Nova Cat (though, the Night Gyr kinda does at 75 tons)

Yeah there is some overlap there, but the Nova Cat can probably do energy loadouts better, having more free slots. And since being 70 tons gives you an option between the 65 tonners and the 75 tonners, which is a really nice option in both faction play and tonnage-based competitive play, as well as the group queue.

Theirs only one answer to solve that problem.

Yea... no thanks... it'd be a worse Dire Wolf... less pod space, hard locked JJ's...

Well it was a first thought, and I was being lazy using sarna to inspire me to draw something.

That's more or less what they said about the Supernova (except it was more about engine cap and compared to the MAD-IIC), but I love my Supernovas.

Agility quirks or higher base agility would go a long way to make the Turkina different from the Dire. Also, giving it something like 75 degrees of torso yaw would be a nice upgrade. And hell, it can still do dual gauss dual ER PPC or dakka.

Gonna add the Jupiter to the poll, the other two are either too new or too old.

Frankly though, I would rather have the Turkina over the Jupiter, even though the Jupiter is probably superior in every way being a 100 ton BattleMech. This is when nostalgia wins out for me, and its not like we have a shortage of God-tier Clan assault robots.

Yes, but unlike the Supernova, the Turkey is stuck with the same engine ratio as the Dire Wolf (3/5)... but unlike the Dire Wolf she has hard wired 2t JJ's (3 of them)... to get an idea of how she handles, or rather should handle take out a Dire Wolf S... In her advantage though the prime Turkey is read for Gauss+ERPPC out of the box.

Yeah I'm aware its not ideal, but with either agility quirks, or the decoupled "baseline agility stats" they can do a lot to make it handle much less like a pig compared to the Dire, and the arms should also by noticeably higher, if wider. So Gauss in each arm and a ER PPC in each shoulder should be able to hoptart/hill hump pretty well, especially with agility quirks/improved agility.

Now that we have ATMs you can also make a 6 missile hardpoint loadout with the D arms... so LURMS for days, or massed ATMs.

To do Dual Guass+ERPPC you'd be using the Alpha chassis arms and the Charile LT or the Bravo ST's... her ST's are just crammed full of stuff... 2x XL, 2x DHS and one JJ.... all hard wired, leaving you with 5 crits open in each ST, the nice part is those crits are uninterrupted.

Yeah, but ER PPCs are small, they fit fine. You can fit a UAC10 in one of the Right Torsos as well.

I would have voted for the Merlin if it was an option. Otherwise I hope we get the IS MadII soon.

That's fine. No hard feelings towards you at all for your preferences.

Says the person who wanted the Mad Cat MK.2 before anything else was added to the clan arsenal.

Yes I know, that is my expectation. Honestly for Clans after the Nova Cat and Warhammer IIC idk what else we really need for our line ups. Almost every base will be covered well, atleast I heavy and Assault bracket. Anything aftet those 2 becomes nostalgic or side grades imo. Lighter well alot there to fill in and Mediums some decent options but yea...after Nova Cat I would be sitting a happy Clansmen
