Community: "Roll back the update!"
Devs: "Roll back the dev update? Why sure!"

I'm not mad at Daeron but I'm considering leaving the game over the nuclear strike level of blow off this feels like. Tell us what's going on and do the stream when possible. The longer we wait the more it feels like horrible news is incoming.

I personally see no issue, I have plenty else to do with my evening. As for needing Bombadil for this, well, I'll give you guys that one since unlike most here I haven't touched Community Warfare in years, so I could care less what's done to it. Granted I lost my status as a Nova Cat but, oh well.

Don't let everyone on here push you about. This is not a forum, its a salt mine. Everyone is gonna complain about something and most of it will either be more rollback BS or about the developer update being pushed back. Honestly if it was bad news I think we'd all know by now so, I'm optimistic.

My only complaint? Take another look at the poor Thunderbolt please, it needs its structure quirks changed to armor so it can be relevant again. Its armor gets stripped way too fast, sometimes in as little as 3-5 seconds.

Which ones? I am not aware of any, but that is a lot of mechs to comb through and verify, so I may have missed one or two.

I had to look it up, the following were listed for having leg weapons in 3025:
Assassin ASN-101 (2x SL)
Cicada CDA-3C (2x MG)
Crusader CRD-3D/3K/3L/3R (2x SRM4 or SRM6)
Victor VTR-9A1 (2x MG)
Wasp WSP-1A/1D (SRM2/Flamer)

3 of those are already in MWO, but were quite rare in TT, so I only remembered Crusader and Wasp.

Really? I didn't know about those. The only conversion I was aware of was the Mist Lynx-G. Those two right-torso lasers are supposed to be split between the legs. I'll have to look up the rest of those. Add the Cicada to the list of HBS's "following PGI too closely" crimes... There wasn't anything stopping them from putting hardpoints back where they belonged (legs, rear torso, etc).

Well, the cancelation of the dev update is quite frustrating. It was scheduled in the middle of the night for my time zone and I planed to stay awake so long to actualy listen what you guys had to say. Only to find out that it was canceled on short notice without setting a new date. Combined with the fact, that the new FP update has some ... how should I say it without triggering the mods ... lets say "shortcomings", it is even more frustrating.

Daeron is just an all around better person to do this as he knows better what the community wants to hear about.
We're to close to the subject to conduct a proper interview. Hope this makes sense!

It's interesting you say that.

Because, between the two of them, it's actually Phil that better knows what the community wants and can read the crowd and sometimes throw in some counter arguments at the devs when they say something in complete contrast to what the players think or want.

No disrespect to Daeron, but he usually plays the cheerleader to the devs and tries to hype up and drag the crowd along with whatever the devs are saying.

Here is an example:
Dev: We are going to to X, Y, Z

Players: Hate X, Y, don't care about Z

Daeron: I think that is awesome, as long as "we" get Z, I think the majority of the players can adapt to X, Y.

Phil: It's good that we are getting Z, however, some players might think X, Y might not be so good because of This and that. Is there a possibility X and Y could be improved over time

This feels reassuring. It's what I'm hearing from most, personally I think the delays are just getting me nervous. Still hopeful though, just don't like feeling lost in the ether when it comes to change.

I don't mean to sound so salty either, just maybe a little anxious and overdramatic. Unusual for here, I know.

Not unusual, I've never really been salty about things. I agree that pushing the update back is more then a bit odd, but I don't think PGI would leave us completely in the dark if the news was bad. Its a game of hurry up and wait at this point, so just relax and blow up that Flea standing 300 meters away with 6 LMGs; things will be ok!

Okay so since it's delayed just tell us what is going on with mech releases seriously. Shouldn't need a podcast to do that. Just needs a "we done" or a "mech pack will be announced soon/date"

It's probably not horrible news... They are still making money. Not a lot, but some. MW5 will help a lot if its good. Pre-reviews have been good.

Glad I didn't buy any MC today, as it's clear where this is headed. No definite date for the rescheduled dev stream, no updates on anything; nothing.

Sometimes you can just tell what devs think about their playerbase...

Yes, you are a small company, and yes, there is such a thing as unforeseen circumstances. But please, keeping a schedule is paramount, especially with the nattering nabobs of this forum.

It was advertised as "Russ speaking to us". Why can't he speak, type, write or morse code anything by himself? This behaviour lost you the last bit of trust I had...

If you can edit an announcment to state that it is delayed, you could have also posted all information you wanted to give us in text form. You did not. Cheap publicity stunt to buy more time...

Don't buy anything anymore before we get answers. This game is at the end of life time and they are trying to squeeze every bit of money out of you before they scrap it. That is what it feels like. Don't play their game, don't be dumb enough to fall for it.

Honestly - the stream was cancelled because one (admitted) pothead hippy "community manager" from the pacific northwest couldn't make the stream? Are you kidding me? I can assure you no one gives a rat's a-- if he's not there. What a pathetic excuse for having no integrity.

I've seen some utter BS from devs in my gaming history but I have to say, PGI, this is a new low.

Glad I didn't pre-order MW5...

I would rather have them work and produce something than spend all their time talking on social media. I remember a time when we bought games and never heard from the devs and only got our news from a magazine or word or mouth. If a game was bad no one played it.
