There is a multiplier for the first 20 games all players play that push your PSR changes higher or lower to speed the seeding process of the PSR player distribution. After those 20 matches, regular PSR zero sum values will be used.
We need your feedback on whether this is acceptable or not (losing current Tier standings).
Well sign me up for that! Except for the multiplier. I don't want anything to lessen my ability to enjoy actually getting matches that can be won.
Right now I'm sitting in Tier 1 and getting wins about 1 in 5 matches, at best, and the absolute last thing I want to see is anything making it easier for me to get right back into this position. Hell, as I post this I'm pretty sure I've lost the last 10 matches in a row so I'm about done with the game for the month.
I know I'm not the greatest pilot in the game, but losing significantly more than you win is about as fun as having carnal relations with a live light socket.
Edit:
Well, finally won, and it was a win partly because I kept two ECM/stealth mechs occupied until they killed me and lost the match. On the one hand we won, but on the other hand that was one of the most drawn out, miserable kills I've gone through in this game so yeah. I'm out for awhile.
