Order placed!

Very intriguing Summoner SMN-G = SRM60 bomber with 10x missile hardpoints (with SMN-B 2x missile hardpoints per arm)...

==>Perhaps this upcoming SMN-G would be given +2 HSL SRM-Family, so that we can fire up to 6x SRM weapons at once without Ghost Heat? Posted Image

Cannot wait to have SMN-G in my MechBay!

Also: brawling Kitfox with MG + lasers Posted Image

Victor Energy boat next lmao

Victor 10L would be cool.. could have 4E and ECM retaining the ballistic in the right arm...

Hatamoto-Hi 27U is an all energy Hatamoto which is close.

Can we get like an IS 90+ toner with 10 laser hard points like a psyclops or something? That would be pretty cool since there are no IS mechs with 10 or more energy hard points.

Sunder could be configured up to 9, a 10th would have the be in the form of like a 2E side torso on a hero or something....

10 hardpoints would be cool, 4 LL 6 ERML isn't possible in game right now but that would be a sweet IS assault capability.

Second for the Victor 10L: basically the same hardpoint config as already exists (just with the missiles on the other side of the chest) but comes with Stealth Armor and ECM, and an extra energy hardpoint in the CT.

I'll totally buy this for the Summoner. The Summoner is one of my most-driven heavy Clan omnis next to the Night Gyr. It sucks being a Smoke Jaguar at heart that there aren't any jumping configurations for the Ebon Jaguar!

I hope the next IS pack has the Awesome AWS-9Q - Four PPCs and CT-mounted ECM, been needing that forever!

Hmm i would be interested, in hearing how you guys do in the SUMMONER, i tryed to build one many years ago, and it FAILED, i leveled 2 up, but chassis and armor, was a waste of time, and i sold them off as JUNK metal.

This could be a good moment to give the Summoner a nice redesign so that it doesn't look like it has been designed by a six year old either on paper or with some clay or Play-Doh (if you don't know what that is : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Play-Doh ) but it seems I am the only one with this opinion so far ?! Summoner looks Epic no idea what you are talking about.
Personally would love these mechs, but it will never happen. Or this

Nah, the Summoner design from PGI looks relatively consistent with the original artwork for the 'mech.

Posted Image

Hmm... OK Posted Image

View PostC337Skymaster, on 29 January 2022 - 07:38 AM, said:

Unfortunately, my understanding is this is already a hard "no" from PGI, probably due to the difficulty in aiming a third reticle. It's literally why we don't have the Crusader. Although for that matter, the MLX-G's two torso energy, and the CDA-3C's two torso MG's (bloated to 4) were supposed to be in the legs, as well. Such has been PGI's solution to leg-mounted weaponry.

Too bad! Posted Image

Nice, but those low arm mounts are gonna be a pain in any peeking situation... not to mention firing from a higher vantage point...

I feel really bad saying this but...this looks like you just took the skin and bolt-ons from a very popular pack and moved it to different mechs. This is actually of the first packs I am underwhelmed by, I am actually very sorry to say that. We need to see actual improvement and substantial changes soon.

I am curious how difficult would it be to add new weapons that used in game models but has stats changed to act like HAGs for example.

As near as I can tell, here is the design philosophy behind the KFX-P:
-Detatch the side torso ballistics from the fixed jumpjets
-Bring the side torso energy hardpoints out from behind a paywall
-Mirror the Ballistic/Missile arm of the Prime to the opposite side
-Mirror the Energy/Missile arm of the -S to the opposite side.

I'm still curious why this was chosen over adding a missing variant of another 'mech, but that's what the 'mech does, in case anyone's wondering.

I'm afraid the philosophy of this set is much simpler - maximum savings: take chassis, developed a long time ago; apply the color sheme developed for the "Warden" set, change its color from green to red; take boltons from the same "Warden" set. That's it, the new product is ready. People will be happy.

Is there anywhere you can see the quirks on the mechs before buying these packs? I've bought a few now and been fairly underwhelmed with several of the mechs.

I enjoy playing MWO and especially have fun with the guys I group with. To me, $20 every 3 months is a very reasonable way to support the game and people like Mark that are trying to make this the best they can with what they have available. The mechs are a nice bonus.
