At the very least the SR-6 really could use MPL HSL +1 so it can fire each torso's lasers as a group.

Sad that the SR-5 and its bigger engine got cut for the -7./

SR-5 would have been too similar to SR-1, and a bit of an oddball with no JJ

Problem is, the SR-7's gonna be a slower SR-6, with fewer hardpoints unless they really inflate it.

One 'mech out of the group missing JJs is fine anyway.

Heck, on the subject of hardpoints, the one variant they really should have cut was the SR-1, since the -2, -4, and -5 would have done its job better. But base variant or something I guess.

It's probably going to get quirks to make it worth running. I'm curious to see how the 3 variant handles the rear micro pulse lasers since we don't have anything like that in game.

Regardless, congrats to everyone that wanted this mech in game. Still waiting for that Firemoth so that I can die a happy man and complete the MW2 collection.

Rear-facing weapons just get moved to the front, like the Atlas CT lasers.

Maybe they release a would be SR-5 sometime in the future... who knows.

But for now... the Rhino line up is rock solid..... pun intended.
I think this might be the only time a chassis release might have 7 solid performers right out the door. All variants having a niche/role.

It's been quoted that there's a maximum of 16 active hardpoints active at the same time.

~That's why you get an error if you equip all 16x weapons + AMS onto Crusader Crael (ie: total of 17 active hardpoints).
~For Piranha variants, it was carefully limited to max 16 active hardpoints at a time!)
