The SR-4 stock build does not work. There is not enough physical space for UAC/10, 2 x C-LRM10, 2 x UAC/10 ammo, and 2 x C-LRM ammo in the Torsos. The build is over tonnage by 6 tons, even at 528 armor points. I was trying to link the build to this comment but MechBD won't let me export it due to over tonnage. I would encourage anyone interested in pre-ordering to check the build(s) on MechDB Custom before you give them money. PGI needs to do their homework before advertising and taking peoples money!(( I was really excite until I tried the build out.

If you ditch the JJs the build works lol, guess you can't have it all, they just shouldn't advertise it like that!))

Oh and it can only do 16 heat sinks not 17 for the build to not be over tonnage.

Did you use C-UAC/10s, or UAC/10s? Clan UAC/10 are 4 slots and 10 tons. IS UAC are 7 slots and 13 tons.
So its 4 slots for the C-UAC/10, 1 slot each for the C-Lrm10 so 2 slots, and 4 slots for the 2 tons of each ammo to make a total of 10 slots used, plus the C-XL engine taking the last 2 slots. If the IS UAC/10 was used, it would also account for the extra 6 tons over.

Edit: However i dont see where the 17 heatsinks are coming from. Looks like 1 is missing from the loadout. There is one in each arm and one in each leg, plus 2 extra in the engine for 16..

Not interested.

And hardpoint inflation now for clans, too:
SR-1 should have 2B 3E, it has 4B 7E and an added AMS.
SR-3 should have 2M 6E (PGI has the stock loadout wrong, should have 2xLPL per arm), it has 6M 6E.
SR-7 should have 6E, it has 11E.


SR-2 is correct, as are SR-4 and SR-6.

Stuff like the dorsal guns of the Stone Rhino / Marauder II or the shoulder mounted big missle drums/boxes won't be a problem if they would be their own hit location an not part of the side torso.

Sad that the SR-5 and its bigger engine got cut for the -7./


So if they upped the engine cap on the -1 to 400, that 'mech can pull double-duty as the -1 and -5. It has the same hardpoints as the -5, it's just missing the ability to mount the accompanying engine.

The store shows the sr-3 has the correct build. The only thing changed is the micro lasers now face forward. Store page has 4 lpl 2 atm 9 and 2 micro.

Regardless, congrats to everyone that wanted this mech in game. Still waiting for that Firemoth so that I can die a happy man and complete the MW2 collection.


All rear-firing weapons are reoriented to be forward-facing in their same location. Similarly, all leg-mounted weapons are relocated into the torsos (sometimes necessitating torso-mounted equipment be placed in the legs). The Atlas is a classic example: those two CT lasers are meant to cover the rear against backstabbers.

I think this might be the only time a chassis release might have 7 solid performers right out the door. All variants having a niche/role.


All we need to have the SR-5 is to raise the engine cap on the SR-1 to 400. It has exactly the correct number, type, and location of hardpoints, otherwise.

Unfortunately, they need to give Omnimechs an extra bit of special-ness to offset having fixed IS XL engines. The Clan Omnis, sure, but the IS Omnis are gonna need a lot of love.

Well, what's the alternative? Leave the SR-1 and -7 with their mighty 5 and 6 hardpoints apiece to compete with the -4's 14 or -6's 15?
