I think name wise is the bushwacker. Man... 'nough said there lol. Though look wise reminds me of a hummer. Ugly, waste of fuel, but somehow still is used.
Bushwacker is a great name, if you know its roots. Sounds very australian
I also love its looks. Its a great little mech.

Never been a fan of the Annihilator, either. Horrible speed and armor trade-off for ridiculous close/mid-range firepower. Depending on whether you get stuck fighting out in the open or in close, it's either something you lob PPCs at while laughing, or it's ridiculously OP (well, until it drains the ten shots in each AC/10. It holds a strange place of being both my least favorite 'mech to pilot and my least favorite 'mech to fight against.
I like the Annihilator, for the following reasons:
1# Its the mech equivalent of godzilla
2# It has eye lasers.
3# It looks down on Atlas's in the way that Atlas's look down on medium mechs
4# I ran it in a few Solaris matches on MW4. It was completely unstoppable if fitted right.
5# Its not meant to be a pure combat weapon, its a fear weapon like the Atlas, except further along the fear scale. This is the mech you send in when you want an enemy city to surrender rather than having to fight for the enemy city. Eye beams+hugeness+godzillaness+ enormous autocannons= Psychological Fear Weapon.

while I agree that 'mechs can carry hand-held weapons is a big joke
Arguably hand held mech weapons could be useful on a versatility level- Instead of having to get the mech into a mechlab and crane up a gun and refit for a new weapon, just get the mech to put down his handheld weapon and pick up a different one from some kind of supply vehicle that carries a rack of them. Of course such weapons would have an accuracy/weight disadvantage.
