Dustfang, going with the very protracted matches thing is a bit like tryin to find a specific sand grain. unless they <devs> force matches to end at XX minutes, you never know when a match will go on for an hour + or end in under 5 minutes.

Like others who are in favor of MFBs, it would only make sense on certain maps and certain missions. I'm under the impression that the initial release will be just a Team Death Match. If that is the case during opening, MFBs for large maps. If they release something like a "ground control" or capturing certain map points, I still favor MFBs and the option for the commander to move MFBs up and down the battlefield. Of course if MFBs are in use I'd like the option to either destory them or capture them for use.

However that's my own opinion and I'd probably get a lot of flak for it.

Because that would be silly. YEP, I'm playing a stealth mission, let me just walk up to this totally obvious repair station (that was hot-dropped from low-orbit) that the enemy has NO way of seeing AT ALL.

Rejarial, please just drop it. You're not getting compensation for lack of skill.

Volthorne: I have tried numerous times to extoll to all of the readers WHY these systems should be in. I get chided and worse for it. I will never drop someting I believe in or I would NOT be who I am. Look, idk why you seem to think that IF a systems in place you MUST use it, but again, that kinda falls into what I have beat my head into a wall trying to say, so, I wont go into detail.

Makes sense to me to implement this sort of mechanic on a case by case basis. To be more clear, base defense scenario, something like that, where the drop of a MFB may be expected, vs a couple lances hashing it out in some periphery world where nothings around. If reload cashes are all over the place whats the point of managing your ammo??

Every time you try that it comes across something like this:

"I have become used to systems like coolant flush, so I need them to be in game so I'm not at a disadvantage".

That's what people see no matter how you present your view on the topic. Your attitude in many other posts presents a very clear view of your true intentions that you care about nothing more than what is good for YOU. If you fire at people they will fire back, you are hardly the victim you claim to be.

You get nothing further from me Zylo than: YOU are considered my first and primary target on ANY field of battle. Your hulls of your mechs will build my next jump ship. YOU have NEVER listened to anything I said, and chose to bait me and I fell for that bait. BUT no more. I bid you farewell freebirth.

I'll say it again, the game that you want to play already exists in MWLL. I for one would like a hardcore in-battle sim. I don't need the whole game to be a sim, I don't want to wait a 2 weeks to rendezvous with a jump ship, skip across the galaxy, and disembark. But when the action starts, I want the real deal. I want there to be zero time compression. Leaving for repairs/rearm/reload will be the equivalent of retreat for how long it takes to do that stuff.

At least you'll be an easy kill if your piloting skills suffer as much as your logic skills when you're raging.

Yall need to ease up on Rej. I disagree with him on tons of stuff, have had many arguments, and it has always been civil. Be careful how the argument is presented and stay light hearted. Derogatories and using the word "You" generally becomes inflammatory.

Who all remembers the MW2 intro vid, and who all went "OH GOD" when the Mech computer stated "Ammunition Low Criticle.." i remember the horror that gripped me the first time i watched that.

in my opinion it needs to be incorperated into the mech computer system. its just one more of the things that make you feel like your in the pilots seat and the terror that grips you when you hear that sound. just as that Atlas is bearing down on you.....and all you have is a few rounds of that beastly AC20 better make em count.

Should be entertaining if coolant can't be flushed and ammo can't be restocked...

Do not turn this into another Minnesota Tribe gauntlet challenge Rej, or I will start singing Elton John again.

I have said what I need to. Let Zylo bait me all he likes. Got him ignored. But, I will say this: I cannot wait to see what the devs do and what kind of system they put in place in terms of repair/reload/emergency coolant flush<shudder pod> systems ya know? And Ravn, Ill duel you any time ;)
