Dont need a brain to know which group is premade. Also if u see the 6-8 ppl focus fire on one when when its in the midst of combat, its obvious.

That's odd because a pick up group I was in two nights ago worked together 100% through chat and everyone just *gasp* listened to the orders! We won the match easily.

Call your targets folks, be smart about it too and you likely won't get ignored.

I am quite good player, yet I am thinking of abandoning this game for now.

I had a nice 2.5:1 kill ratio (I play only as a pug Dragon). Now it is about 1:1, it should be a way higher since there are so many new players.

I had a very good W/L recored also (roughly 2:1), now it is about 1:3

This just is not entertaining anymore.

Crazy stuff that needs very quick addressing:

- Matchmaker
- Untouchable light mechs (no collisions, delayed firing)
- C-bill farming by running your trial Raven to enemy team, dying and disconnecting.
- Not hitting where you aim at (I can lead and thus kill, but many can't)

So, at the moment I can't enjoy the game.

Maybe nobody is interested. All the same to me. Happy gaming, everybody!

Edit: If someone suggest that I should join a group, no thanks. I don't want to do that. I want to play totally random games with random people. These are not that at the moment.

I like that logic, very much. Thats what they want the new players to think in analogy:

I get beaten and bullied every day at school - i realy should join them.

First, do not equate getting your *** handed to you by premades with bullying. Beating you down is part of the game, kind of like tackling is part of football. I am pretty sure that people that have a problem with being tackled do not play football. If you do not like losing then perhaps playing games are not for you.

Second, this is a team game, as long as people do not play in a "team" or with a team mentality then you will loose. MW:O is a team game. The quicker you are able to get on a team and play in a team in this great, but broken, game the better your game experience will be.

This is a TEAM GAME. Greater team work will win every time. I PUG too, and some times we win... less than half for sure. Greater Team Work wins, period.

Join a Team and start winning in a team game.

When people realize that less than 5% of the games they are in feature even a partial pre-made, what will they whine about next?

When I first joined this game, I wasn't good. I sucked donkey balls. I was that bad. What did I do?

I found and made friends.
I learned from them.
I read the forums for tips, tricks, different optimum builds of mechs that worked.
I read the forums for strategies.
I practiced more.
I tinkered more with my mechs.
I then practiced better drops as a lone wolf.
I coordinated PUG team drops and lead.
I started using TeamSpeak3 to coordinate better with friends.

And this was all BEFORE I joined a Merc Unit premade.

Now that I am in a group of friends that I work with together as a team my wins have increased further. Ask yourself...what can you do to make yourself better? What can you do to learn more?

And stop whining and crying about it. Take action not give grief about premade groups. This is a TEAM PLAY type of game. The mechs are there to support each other in different roles. Work together as a team or DIE ALONE. Truer words have never been spoken.

This is so funny how people who just want to get easy kills and wins justify themself. I really laughed at your "Teamgame" argument.

Go figure why not a single modern game allowes this kind of matchmaking.

wow thats like a tactic thats been around...since 1985 when the TT game came out-pick a target and make it dead.

a real simple solutiont to all your woes-get on teamspeak, join a group of pugs that talk to each other, you enjoyment of the game will increase greatly.

LOL that is like a tactic that has been around since the dawn of combat. :)

I am not in a Team because I want kills.
I belong to a Team because I want a consistent group of people that I can play with, learn from, and be an effective part of a team. I play LRM Cats mostly, and believe me, at least for as much as I suck, I rarely get more than 1 kill a game. It is not about kills. It is about team work and working with a team. I, and everyone in my group, are looking forward to premade vs premade games. PRemade vs PUG is not interesting or challenging.

Because this game offers a different play experience than COD?

Seriously shut the **** up about the premades.. If you can't take the time to log into

View PostLefteye, on 31 October 2012 - 01:59 AM, said:

Since they are unable to play by themselves (while it's clearly possible without much frustration), I am sure that they will benefit by playing with someone else. It's a team game.

"Premade" is not exploiting, or a bad word, or anything. Neither "premades" have better weaponry or their bullets make more damage than yours. If you want to be a lone gunner, I suggest you play a game that is not so strongly based on teams.

But as already pointed out, even as a solo artist, you can have fun if you know what you are doing.

So I give them three options instead of one:

1) Find mates
2) Learn to play
3) Go away

Your 4th option, which would probably be "HAVE PREMADES PLAY ONLY AGAINST EACH OTHER!" is juvenile. Which is not necessarily an insult. Then again, we all know it will be implemented at some point because they want to please everyone, even you, but in the meantime you could pretty please be patient and apply one of the three aforementioned solutions since your constant yelling on the forums about the game not yet being developed exactly the way YOU want it is just very unpolite.

This.. I wish I could give constructive criticism like this.. unfortunately i'm a **** and i'll tell all you little cry babies to ****.

Hey... the "Teamgame" argument is used because, and i'll say it slow so you can follow it:

The. Devleopers. Have. Stated. From. The. Beginning. MWO. Will. Have. A. Focus. On. Team. Play.

Quoted from mwomercs.com/game

Quote

MechWarrior Online puts MechWarriors into a first-person, team-based, tactical battle zone where the victors swim in the spoils of war and are rewarded with the all mighty C-Bill (in game currency).

One of the major gameplay mechanics of MechWarrior Online is team communication. Whether it be in game chat, integrated C3 or a third party VOIP solution, keeping in constant communication with your teammates will drastically increase your team’s chances of success.

Helping to support this notion of communication are the various roles of Mechs and their pilots. Fast moving scouts can feed target and tactical information back to the main battle group and the team commander. This information allows the support and assault role pilots decide where to put their resources to work. Long-range fire support and heavy hitting Assault class Mechs will use this invaluable information to finish the job at hand.

also Match-making is currently not finished... they are working on it.

It is a team based game it will continue to be a team based game, forming and talking to a team IS NOT an exploit it is the intended ideal of gameplay for this game straight from the original design.

You miss the point completely Sir. I joined a team because I want to be able to ask for back up and know I will (or will not) receive it. I want to be hear that my Missiles are in fact hitting a target and not splashing off a building. Being in a team is is quite fun cause you can joke and BS with people you are playing the game with. You can even share tactics with them when When you get roll stomped by a better team Just like we do!

I'll I keep hearing is 'I wanna be a lone wolf and be able to roll stomp like a team. You can't. You are not Kai Allard Liao or Phelan Kell. You are a normal person without the gift of Author fiat!

Take a few rounds to learn the game Mechanics. Come here and ask the green questions. Then find a group you think you like and petition them to join. OR go to the MWO TS server and hang out in the Waiting for a match dropship.

It's not about easy wins, it's about maximizing this games potential.

I just have to ask: How is it griefing, if players decide to team up and use voicecom to improve their teamplay? It's not like groups have a button that says "Put us up against a complete PUG Team".

Btw. I'm a pugger, still I would never blame any premade for my own team acting everyone on their own without any strategy. If anything at all you have to blame the unfinished matchmaker that will improve next week when the first stage of the matchmaker overhaul starts (fingers crossed they finish it in time).

I play lonewolf (most of the time) every time I encounter a Premeade group on my side, they are nice people : "Hello GL-HF, we are premade, if you want you can stick to us". Thats very nice, seeing what paths they take to cross the map, how they cover each other - allways a pleasure to look at and to be part of (even if not in the TS). Every time I encounter a premade group on the orther side (what happens way more often), I give my best to sell my skin as expensive as possible. Show them some tricks and tactics I learned...and hopefully...at least I imagine them on the other side saying "nice, look at that guy". That way or another...playing (winning or loosing) against better opponents makes me better. Playing against weaker opponents just makes me sleepy. And hey...what the hell? One match is 10 minutes...as if I did keep a count of every match!

You hit the nail on the head.

Communication will increase your efficency so much it will baffle you. Thats why the premades are so successful. Not because they are pros, they just talk and work together.
