It could be that thing not actualy repairing the internals after the first match you get cored, so you drop with reduced internals your next match.


I don't auto-repair, but manually repair. I've been on XL engines forever. If I don't fix structure, I'll literally die to one hit normally. Now, even with maxed structure, and maxed armor, I'll poof quickly when my armor's gone. Way, way too quickly. As do others, including trialmechs that start at 100% everything.

This happpened to me Vassago. I wondered what was up.. my engined died when I was still yellow. Hotfix pleasee..

I'm considering it, and I agree it's weaker, I just think that it's not quite instant. But I'm willing to believe increased crit chance. Would account for all the different results.

You haven't made a mockery out of me, I haven't said spit about this bug one way or the other. Frankly I could care less about it or who was right about it.

You have made a mockery out of yourself though, since you wear a Founder's tag and rage against Founder's. Your petulant, childish attitude is so baffling to me that I don't know if I should get angry at you, or feel sorry for you. Mostly the latter.

Hmm, my Hunchback 4SP seemed to have lost it's arms and shoulders quite quickly, however the main torso did take a beating.
Another game, this time in my Awesome 9M with the stock 320 XL, I lost the armor on my front and back and took a few shots after the armor was stripped and I survived the end. However I accidentally team killed when I shot my ER Large laser and hit my off screen but apparently right next to me teammate.

In the Awesome 9M game I did tangle with two Atlas's, granted I had some help but they did fall a bit quicker than usual.

I don't know what to call this, but I know it's not what we should ever have in the game, and I want them to fix it. Had this been ANY other company, it would have been fixed already Any other company.

Usually, people don't release new patches for their game, without making sure the transition's smooth.

It doesn't work like taht, because people who try to fanboy PGI are golds, while i'm not. Just get out of my thread, so I can do research.

Well, at least they haven't destroyed the Operating System on anyone's computer like CCP did...

I really am mystified how these level of bugs are passing through any sort of internal testing?

As said, I don't auto repair, I manually repair. I've used XL's since closed beta, I always fix internal structure and armor to max.
not really sure what the issue here is guys. Mechs are dying faster I will agree.

Could it be just all the new LRM spam?

1° to 3° games without armor.. and not internal explotion for small hits..
4° and 5° game.. armor get breach and instant dead
6° game.. armor breach and i survive for longer time... with 4 mech hitting me...

so this look like random bug... till now...

No, I keep popping to everything, really. Machineguns, LRMs, SRMs, small lasers. I manage to pop enemy lights, after they've taken some damage, with single 2xLRM5 salvos, too. Even if LRMs had been boosted to the highest heaven, there's absolutely no reason you should be able to kill a mildly damaged light with 10 missiles.

I agree with that Vass.

I'm just trying to figure out what exactly is causing the issue, and unfortenately given the current state of the game, two groups can't drop together and test this stuff.

Is it map-specific, is it due to specific weapons? is it due to Endo Steel? does it happen if you have standard structure? Is it XL's?

I'm totally open to being wrong here Vass, there's enough people experiencing SOMETHING. The thing is, we[as a community] can't test for what it is that well because of the current matchmaker changes. This is going to be very hard to pin down.
