Since the removal of Cap Bonuses, capping is now about useless. Has a mode for pure attrition, with no capping been considered? It is frustrating seeing people still rush to cap, even when both teams ask them to stop.
If it hasn't been considered, can I consider it now considered?

Are there plans to introduce effects of damaged actuators, gyros, engines, life support etc etc ala the TT rules?

The economy changes and removal of R&R is turning the game into AssaultMechOnline. Often 5-6 of a team is Assault Mech's now as there is little to no downside of bringing them. Was this intentional? If not what plans do PGI have to fix this Major Issue of game balance? Seems to me to fly in the face of previous statements of "we want to make mediums viable not have a race to max weight class" and "Atlas's will be powerful but there will be a high cost to use them". What will be done to make those previous dev statements true again? A max weight ton for a group to ensure that no more than 2-3 Assaults can be brought? Or will R&R be tweaked and readded like the Majority of the community want?

Garth has been vocal to the 2X being his preferred variant of Raven. Would anyone dev side comment on what pros 2X might have over the Jenner K or D?

Edit: ANSWERED
The Raven 2X, along with the other Raven variants, are able to mount much larger missile pods.

New Question. Does this really warrant the Raven 2X or is it likely to get a boost?

DC Unlimited makes Starcraft figurines. I see figurines for other games,,. the lack of a 1/72 scale Highlander is something I find to be,...unacceptable. Cockpit items are all well and good, but my computer desk needs mechs too. Please enlighten us as to how you plan to remediate this rather glaring lack of merchandise that I would spend hard earned $'s on..

Ive been looking and i cant really find info on dhs and ehs are the supposed to be .2 or not was that the bug and so are they still

Ever since the first dev blog I have been anticipating Community Warfare.
Have the planned roles for Merc Corps and House units changed at all through the development process? If yes, in what ways have these roles changed?

When will it be possible to view the weapon loadouts on our allies?
This would help to decide on whether the easy cap is the way to go or stick it out and fight.

If and when the "Grand Dragon" were to be added (which would be awesome, by the way, as it is a much more energy-focused build than other variants), would it be considered a Dragon, or an entirely different 'Mech altogether? Also, would it be the lower-tech DRG-1G or the modern, high-tech DRG-5K?

EDIT: This would also apply to 'Mechs such as the Fire Javelins, which were energy-focused variants of the original Javelin (which used exclusively missiles).

Thanks for releasing the Stalker. It's a pretty cool mech, even if it's not quite my stile. Now, to my question.

At the moment, the 3H and 4N are completely outclassed by the other variants. The 3F is also a poor choice, if it wasn't for it having a torso twist of 85 while every other model only goes 60. Was the higher twist range on the 3F by design, or is the twist range on the other models so much lower by error? This is the only mech that features such a disparity.

Also, the same request I always have: explaining to the community what the reasoning behind Tripple-Slot-Heatsincs having different values in and outside of the engine is.

Reposting two previous questions, adding a third...


1) Now that gauss rifle crits are working as intended, are there plans to implement a method for powering down the gauss to prevent explosions? (Same with dumping ammo.)


2) When we sell a Mech in the MechLab we do not receive any c-bills for upgrades (DHS, endo, etc.) we have purchased while we are paid for custom weapons and equipment. Is this working as intended? If so, can you explain the reasoning?

3) What are your plans for how Clan LRMs will function? In TT they're half the weight of Inner Sphere LRMs and have no minimum range. Using current implementation as a model, Clan SSRM6's have the potential to be devastating enough. But what are practically Streak-LRM20 racks... boated on a scout? Ouch.

At least with Clan LRM's they can't be fired indirectly, Line of Sight Only.

--Maybe they will make the range on them 750 too??

Check that they can fire indirectly, found it in my Total Warfare handbook. I was just remembering house rules from the 90's ^_^ . Since being home for Christmas I got to hang out with my old gaming buddies. Apparently we did that to reinforce the Clan Zellbrigen doctrine and system of Honor Dueling.

But still maybe?

1.) Now that the Atlas AS7-D-DC can mount ECM, is it time to remove it's 3rd free Missile Hardpoint that makes up for the non-functional Command Console? If not, will it ever be removed if the Command Console does get a function? Seeing as how the AS7-D-DC was never meant to be a better offense based variant.

2.) Will the Command Console ever have a purpose?

With Community Warfare to be implemented someday, do you still have an intent of aligning particular battlemechs with particular Houses, giving some advantages to House pilots in purchase or research of House-affiliated Battlemechs?

If yes, when will you disclose affiliations of currently playable/announced mechs, so we can already start to build House-oriented stables?

Are we going to get not 1, but 5 more IS 'mechs to have one per weight class per House, or 20 is enough because FRR is doomed?
