So those of you who are saying they aren't there, you're wrong.
They could also be jealous folk who are trying to make real players look bad as those forums do not control the names they are posting under.

Probably a bug though as the player DC'd before he went over the hill. Then the enemy team was like woah? that's a fast atlas.

So would I. But with so many bad programmers taking the lazy way out instead of making a great many hit calculations SERVER SIDE or timestamping the packets so that they are processed in the correct order. Instead of the current system which is client side calculations. Which is easily exploited and often hacked.

Ok, but I was referring to the macro's being used as concerning UAC5 jamming only.. Lol, not the aimbots or whatever youre talking about.

A 15 second Google search on Cryengine and exploits/hacks might color your vision with a little more insight. Just because you haven't seen it, does not mean someone isn't using it. Or that PGI hasn't already laid the hammer down on those using something similar.
We already have folks using macros to get around mechanics designed to make you do more on purpose, that's an arguable exploit(hopefully they figure out how to negate this).
What exactly makes you think that A: this game is in-exploitable? and B: this engine is anywhere near secure? C: lazy players around here won't use them if they do exist?
Yeah, I've seen some questionable things go down, but I could never pin it, as up until the last patch FRAPS would almost always crash my client, and I got sick of worrying about cheaters when my client crashes/bugs more than they possibly cheat.

Calculations are done SERVER SIDE. This is why there are firing delays on projectile weapons as there is a delay between when the client says they fire, and the server says "I received your request to fire, FIRING!".

How can a macro be used with an UAC5, when the UAC5 is bugged and often jams after a single shot anyways? The rules for the UAC5 from TT aren't even being followed... it appears the be simply rolling a die each time you press the trigger and going "yep jammed" or "Nope, good". That's it.
No macro in the world is going to fix that.

In one case in particular, I saw an Awesome slowly walk (like half-speed) while making random turns (sometimes into walls). The whole time he would occasionally switch targets and shoot his single medium laser, while never firing his LRMs even though the target was outside of med. laser range but inside of LRM range. He eventually wandered off the map edge at the same slow steady pace. Unfortunately I was new and didn't screenshot it.
In another case, there was a pair of similarly-named users who immediately disconnected from matches, sometimes before it even started. I can't remember the names (and wouldn't post them if I did), but it was obvious they were together, like "coffeemaster" and "coffeeslave". I assumed he was farming CBills, but it pissed me off that he was hurting his teammates in the process.
So yeah, I think bots exist.

You, sir, need to start an external site with the sole goal of identifying these players and getting them banned. Tracking when they are reported, how many times they are reported, collecting all evidence (screenshots and fraps only) and links to sites, etc. Then PGI can't silence you or call it "name and shame."

But that can be easily explained away, because if you played FPS for over a decade like some of us did, you know it's called spatial awareness. They can hear the thud of your footsteps, the sound of your weapons firing, the probably vector you fired from if you did damage. I'm sorry, OP, but I don't think you know what a skilled player can do.

The general idea of the macro for the UAC/5 is to get maximum rate of fire without double-tapping - it does not prevent them from ever jamming, just makes it much less likely while ensuring you are firing at precisely the right moment for max rate of fire.
Macros really aren't "cheats" in my mind, unless it is like the EVE Online "macros" which can entirely control a ship (or 10...)

This is by far the most questionable action I have seen while playing. I don't know if they are using a program are just terrible players but I see this most often if I am capping the enemy base and they have, what appears to be, a ctd mech their. I'll fire a volley into a leg and then the mech starts moving in the slow random pattern trying to lock onto whatever is near and firing its weapons (sometimes alphas or just a single weapon). Like I said I don't know if its just a bad player with a bug (I can recall one time when a member of my unit got a bug where he couldn't moved and someone grazed him with fire and then he could) or if its scripted movement (don't know how they would accomplish that. I'm not a computer techi person).
It seems to me that its more scripted because the movement and firing just seems...off...but then again this is all pretty anecdotal on my part. I'll have to upgrade my equipment a little bit and maybe start taking videos and see if I can catch some of this happening.

I can do it but only in short burst of time, the process just burns out my initiative rather quickly.
But I would love to , however it is a lot of work. It takes numerous people with quite a bit more OCD then what I have. To gather enough damning evidence involves just as much luck as it does legwork & time.
The question you have to ask yourself is; "Would PGI listen?"
I've got all the websites and resources necessary to construct such a site, just need people willing to do the dirty work of sifting the data intake.
P.S. I don't consider my post wipe as being silenced, when I looked back at what I wrote I realized I had just delivered a big juicy steak to tempt anyone who might be even remotely inclined to cheat. Thereby fueling the fire we're already complaining about. This subject really get's my blood boiling, and I posted without considering exactly what I had written. Egomane did the right thing and removed it.
I've loved the MW franchise since I first got into it on the PC in the 90's. So I readily paid for my LF package. As a thank you gesture, I also paid for the 25+ employees in my firm to get LF packages as well. So I consider myself an investor in MWo, and being an investor, I want it to not only succeed but to thrive. However, if they are not vigorously kept out, nothing will kill this investment quite like hackers once they arrive in any great numbers.

I had a friend who is into the FPS games - he is weaksauce and allways cheats.
He had something that located enemy players using the sound of their footsteps...
