I'm not a fanboy. If a game is crap, I don't play it or waste money for it. But I have a lot of fun when I play it. Which is only 2-3 hours per week.

I got in the closed beta, tested it and then I paid the founders package. I didn't activate the Premium status because the game is still in beta. I didn't spend my MC on hero mechs because I find the prices to high. I didn't convert MPX to GPX because the cost is to high.

You and the OP are morons because children like you don't understand the problems of financing and programming a game. The only thing you can do is bitching around. You don't deserve the attention of any devs. Their time is better spend with working on MWO.

http://mwomercs.com/...er/23363-lyrik/ More name calling makes you look so mature and your train(wreck) of thought on financing and programming have little to do with our forum feed back. We take time out of our schedules to post information about concerns with the game in the hopes THEY(its thier job) will address and fix the issues, if they cant figure out financing and programming then THEY need to find another line of work.

Got an interesting analogy for you:

Im a garbage man, in this example. I am paid to handle people's thrown out garbage, process it, and destroy/safestore it. I get paid to handle garbage. It is in my job description.

NOWHERE in the job description does it say that i have to walk onto your front lawn, pick up your strewn-everywhere garbage, go get a dog scooper, scoop up your dog's s$%^, bag it myself, THEN process it.

Simple principle: If you have ideas or concerns, learn how to phrase them in a less than aggravating way. Otherwise, dont be surprised if youre ignored. They are paid to study CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in hopes of possible ideas of how ot better the game. They are NOT paid to sit here and take verbal abuse from a vitriolic community that, as (supposedly) healthy adults and active members of our society, SHOULD know better.

Garth Erlam said in Q&A http://mwomercs.com/...evs-26-answers/ this morning that due to the volume of complaints and negative feedback, they now pay little or no attention to the forums. I think this is a slap in the face for every founder and player that supported this game with their hard earned. If people knew they were going to end up like this, would they have still bought founders? Not as many I wager.

They are still actively communicating on facebook and other internet sites to market their game, yet it seems they use this forum as a focus point to censor negative feedback and complaints.

I would suggest putting your face to your comments on facebook to get a response, because it will not be forthcoming here, other other internet mediums where they are still trying to market their game.

Make your views heard here:

Really? Where did he said that? There is nothing in your link...why am I not surprised?

Bingo.

If you want to be heard, post something constructive and informative.

Threads that simply say "ECM is broken and PGI needs to fix it or I quit and the game will die because everyone agrees with me" provides NO information, provides NO suggestions, and warrants NO attention.

Here's a good watch for you OP...

Personally, I've got more fingers than I've seen threads that actually contained valid constructive criticsm since the OB started.

this is kind of stupid. Since they consider this game as in beta.

And we are their only beta testers. And we give feedback on this forum. They are ignoring their beta testers? Because they don't like what they hear?

lol you know a game has gone to **** if they have to ignore their beta testers

But you don't give feedback, you just complain like a little children. Thats why the devs ignore people like you and the OP. And I'm glad for this.

They are not ignoring us. But the point is there is a HUGE difference between the b*tching everything to death and a constructive criticism. Kids these days, no respect.

http://mwomercs.com/.../390944-heeden/ LOL the forums are to hear from US the fan base. You want to blame the fan base for the games failures? If the game was good the forums would reflect that. The reason this game is failing is becuase of the greedness of the system They installed and the lack of concern towards US the fan base when we address issues on the forums like we're supposed to do and get NO response.

The forums are for players to discuss the game. If it was a place where reasonable discussions are taking place about the pros and cons of the game then I am sure the devs would be more likely to pop in with snippets of info to allay/confirm people's concerns.

However what we have is a toxic swamp where interesting discussions quickly get bogged down in the same tired, old whining. There really is little point to the devs posting here and I'm honestly not surprised most of them don't bother reading them.

Hopefully a decent fan-site will appear with stricter moderation. Official forums normally allow more lee-way so that nerd-ragey customers can vent. It isn't very nice for the rest of us but I suppose there is some justification for it.

I agree that it is bad situation.
but you guys have no idea how much bad information is going around.
also there is massive amounts of crying that even a lot of players who used to go to the forums all the time,
have also stopped looking on these forums.
there are plenty of threads that are just so funny to read.

but to think that PGI are not in touch to what is going is just plain crazy.

Negative feedback is all well and good.

The vitriol and outright hate expressed by some posters is... not.

"This is a problem, please address it." Good "negative" feedback.

"This is a problem, you @#$%ing twits, fix it OR ELSE" is you being a @#$%ing *******, please stop.

Keep pretending there haven't been countless valid threads containing reasons why certain features are broke.

Now, after weeks of being ignored people are getting upset, and you think it isn't deserved.

I don't show respect to those that do not reciprocate.

Yep. PGI is in touch with the fanbase and their complains. Here is the prove that they are working on improving several aspects of the game: http://mwomercs.com/...-command-chair/

Balancing and getting rid of bugs is not an easy task. Even big developper teams with a lot of experiance like Blizzard struggle every day with these problems. Just read the patchnotes of any MMO's out there.

Have you seen the kind of **** that gets posted on these forums? Most of it is utter bollocks and Piranha would certainly do well to pay no attention to it.

Forums are basically full of a vocal minority who argue in favour of their own agenda. For example, class forums in MMOs ALWAYS have "this class is too weak" threads with players frothing at their mouths arguing this way and that as to why THEIR particular slice of the game needs to be improved.

Guess what *******? If there's a "our class is too weak against x" post in EVERY class forum then that must mean the game is balanced! But players don't see it that way, in fact in most cases, forum goers posting "feedback" want nothing more than to have their agenda put forward as a focus for the developers, and this is why developers are far, FAR better off adhering to their own game design strategy. Even more disturbingly, some of those feedback threads are actually long, well argued and well thought out, but they totally lack any sort of meta context regarding the rest of the game, or how their proposed changes would affect every other player in the game.

This is not to say that forums are a useless form of feedback, but sometimes they're pretty close to it.

With that said, if there's something you disagree with, by all means spew it onto the forums as it's definitely a good way to get discussion going, and you might even come to see why certain design decisions were taken (or not), but honestly most forums these days are so full of vitriol (just like this post!) that it's very hard to filter the good suggestions from the noise.

The main point of my post has been conveyed, being people that feel their concerns are being ignored or censored should post on wider mediums than this site as the developers pay more attention and respond quicker elsewhere, and news is often posted here last, when it would be the first point of release for news.

The spittle of the fanboys and apologists doesn't matter, it's just **** in the wind. Having conveyed my point accross, kudos to those who are now airing their concerns publicly on facebook.. Putting a face to your text I believe is better than here.

Good day, and thanks for the interesting discussions, it's been a good read.

Honestly, I've never seen so much bitching on a forum in my life. There are some good topics on here but most are just spammed out cryfests from people about ECMs, Light Mechs, Pugs vs Premades, and Polls on how badly someone's *** hurts. I've been a mod on forums before, hell even ran my own site, but never have I seen so much diaper rash as I see on here. Just play the damn game, report the issues, and wait for them to get fixed. The "Now" Generation doesn't understand that things take time, usually two or three years for a respectable game development team to get to open beta, these guys did it in one.
