What is the shoking news? That someone got 24h ban from automated security checks on the forum?
The only shocking thing was the very aggressive and negative posts he had in the last few weeks.

It is shocking that PGI/IGP can deny you access to the website/your account without needing a valid reason to do so and don't even need to inform you of their decision, therefore effectively assuming the role of an almighty despot in regards to the franchise even when you spent money on the game and it should not be able to get barred from it without a violation of laws/rules, something a company can't do if you purchase a non free to play game, which comes with certain customer rights which apparently are not a given for free to play titles in general not only MWO.
To sum it up it is shocking how free to play titles undermine customer rights, not the 24h ban on the forums.

All companies that own the rights to their content can do this. World of Warcraft could say Eff it, turn off their servers tomorrow and walk way, and 8 million people would just have to take their medicine. But they don't.
But it only matters if they abuse it. Not only did they not abuse it, it was automated and accidental, and they gave Pada 2 days of Premium time to make up for the error.
I'm more interested in the (Censored) that access was removed to.

Not quite, since they enter a contract with you for a period of time which they would have to uphold or compensate you for, a situation not quite the same as a free to play game where the only obligation is to provide access to the game but can be denied immediately afterwards since you don't form a contract. It is like having a subscription to a magazine, they can't just stop sending you their magazine unless you violate the agreement or your contract runs out, but if you just buy the magazine from a Kiosk they can stop producing the magazine immediately after you bought it, thats the difference. Thats why for example steam cannot deny you access to the games you have bought unless you violate the terms of agreement or in the very unlikely case that steam itself goes bankrupt.

Should the folder \Config be empty and the user.cfg in the main folder as it has always been or should it be in the new folder you have to create according to the instructions.
And then I put in rMotionblur = 0 and got rocked by tons of incoming fire and could not see anything at all due to blur. Blur was on in Options, so obviously it did not get overridden, but on the other hand graphics showed "custom" rather than "low", my last setting. Odd.
Thx for the reply.

Edit: Config folder and Engine Assets need to be in the Engine sub-folder. Config to enable the user.cfg and Engine Assets for grain removal.

So the people having problems getting their cfgs to work should profit from this.
