Personally dont want to see the same map, or maps that prefer a certain kind of combat (close range or snipers)- would enjoy mixed balanced maps that offer all rolls the chance to do there job.

Dont really want the mech lab to be abused to a extent where every one is running the same loadout that X person posted on a thread (Relating to chrome hounds here for those who played it). Do want to see the mech lab bring diversity (which it will) to the battle field. Dont want it to be when the clans come out to create such a massive diffrence between the weapons/mechs to where it makes the game unfun (madcats soloing several people, i know cannon wise clan stuff was WAY better but come on, some things dont need to be that close).

Really dont want the dev - customer (player) relationship to be crippled and or strained by little to no communication (WoT is a good example here, Russian devs dont really like to communicate with the NA server group and the NA server stuff dont really seem to know whats what half the time either).

And another tid bit from WoT- please do NOT make it where a certain region has diffrent items or is a head of the other regions (WoTs Russian servers get there updates much earlier then the NA ones, and the china server for them has many tanks that are not seen in the NA server or the Russian server for that matter, i know china is a big market but come on, dont make em feel special bout it.).

Dont want to see a certain chassis gain a large dominance on the battle field either (Every one rockin hunchbacks or atlases would really make game play dull..).

And damn another from WoT - when you give us info please give it to us in a way we can understand it (Have you see the WoT MM teir chart, most of the time its a shotty translation and even they dont talk to the NA server group bout lots of whats on there. And there is even a T11 chart but it goes up to T10 really confused me personally..).

-Dont really want to see the game kick new players out into the fray with out giving them some kind of instruction on some of the many game mechanics first and how the weapons work (Setting up a wiki or posting videos in the in game client or just posting a link to the website [maybe do a how to page] to give them instruction on some of that stuff, or do a training room. try to give new players a chance to be on the same playin field ya know? a big thing when i tried to show friends MW games is they couldnt understand how every thing worked and what everything ment)

-Please devs if you read this, talk to the people who have stuff in commen with you guys in terms of MW. I am mainly talking about MWLL because right now im pretty sure it is the closest thing to MWO right now a side from the old school games. Hell maybe if you guys sat down and talked bout stuff you guys could share some of it with us :)

I think thats it really for what i have to say..

So far this is what i could come up with. Couldnt do many MWLL related points cause i havent tried out the beta to make a relation between the two..

I like a lot of your comments here but if I may. I really wouldn't mind a mad cat doing some damage. Remember how important bidding is in the clans. So theoretically it would be a 2:1 fight with clans being stronger. Clan players would have to focus on two IS players. This gives one IS player the chance to attack weak points while the other distracts. For instance a star of clanners start to walk towards your 3 lance. Have the Catapult-C1's barrage with LRMs breaking up the star into seperate groups that now have to fight forces that outnumber them, while being slugged and bombarded.

Gold Ammo. It would destroy the game.

Mechlab....oh wait....

Seriously, I don't like the thing, especially without some major cost to changing your mech's loadout. I see the future, and it consists of 2 or so chassis of each type that have been determined to have the "best" weapons mix all over the place while other mechs are never used. I would rather have seen only canon variants and no customization or at least make it so expensive that you have to seriously work your butt off to do it. I'm sure there will be a few holdouts like me that want to play the unpopular designs, but this is an online game, which seem to breed min/maxers, which are the bane of variety in these things.

The complainers. If they let me use certain weapons and I kick you around with them, don't cuss me out. Every weapon has its faults, find mine and kill me.

Here's an odd one that I haven't really seen... and I'm actually still up in the air on if I want it or not... Rear arc facing weaponry.
stuff to fire at the people behind you. it's in the Table Top... the ATS-7D Atlas sports 2 rear facing Medium lasers as additional protection [I personally mod it and remove one of the lasers, and turn the other to be forward facing.]

Still the option to have some rear facing weaponry adds to a tactical option, yet at the same time, how do you practically utilize rear facing weaponry? It's one of those little table top things that I'm up in the air about [rare, but it happens]

Don't want to see Combined arms [tanks and Aero, no thanks, leave that to MWLL]

Clan Tech... Atleast for another year.

No hackers, using their "cheat codes" so they get an OPed Atlas that trolls on everyone that play it the honorable way.

Flamer spam. I dont want to see that. Whole teams cheesing the other team down with heat and then just having their way with them? THAT is BS.

Well that and protomechs. Those were such a ridiculous idea, I cant even..

As long as this game has the same business model as Leauge of Legends or Heroes of Newerth, I'm happy. Those are F2P games that aren't pay-to-win.

I play WoT. I've been thinking alot. You know, about the alternatively gifted players (I wanted to say people, but, honestly, some of them do not deserve to be called a person). And I came to a conclusion.

I don't want to see socialism in this game. When you are entitled to your C-Bills regardless of what you do and what you not do. I want players to EARN their paychecks.

This. Any variation of Pay-2-Win ammo, modules, mechs or weapons will sour the community and ultimately ruin the potential of the game to reach a wider audience. I can't stand WoT. It puts me, as a tier 4 medium, in a game against tier 7 and 8 behemoths that you can't even penetrate unless you buy the gold ammo. Ridiculous.

Respawn, RNG and Pay-to-Win.

PS: One more thing, single core support.

I'm not really surprised that more people haven't said this yet, but if MWO was like this, then there wouldn't ever be bs like 'gold' ammunition, pay-to-win, etc. as a large force.

Okay, go on an unfortunate losing streak, become broke, and then get forced to make a new account in order to have enough money to repair your destroyed mech, or spend 400 hours playing janitor before you can buy a Commando. I mean, I really want to do work for a game.

Everytime anybody like you suggests grinding is something that games should strive to have, I cringe. A tough game isn't characterized by the time you have to put into it, but by the amount of skill and knowledge it takes to play well.

I would hate the coolant that existed in MW3 and MW4. I also do not want to see the jump sniping with gauss, ppc, and laser builds, in which they alpha strike pull down, jump alpha strike, go down, rinse, repeat, etc, etc. I don't really want to see hacking or glitching of any kind. I also hope most people use realistic types of mechs and not mechs that boat all lasers or ppcs, etc...

"One loadout to rule them all" situations where one particular loadout on one particular mech can dominate almost every other mech in the game.

Second (and this is probably inevitable), people exploiting faults in the game for tactical advantage. For example, hugging a wall so your guns glitch out the other side, but the enemy can't hit you. I hate it when poeple do stuff like that and it completely ruins the experience for me.

Ah, the old 7 ERLL Novacat in MW4 No heat games...
