Ich sage es mal auf deutsch:
Wir wollen unser Geld zurück!
We want out monexy back

We waited 6 days now, we lost a lot of premium time. It is enought(!) now!

Even if it is a Beta, you get money, and if not able to play, you don't get us what we payed for. So its time for a refund. Not only for the time, we got nerved, we want it for ALL the time since 5th of february. Itr's time to react, to do something, and to give us the time back. We waited long enoug!

You get money, and we do not get ANYTHING for our money.... Do we have to start it the hard way? You know the US-Judges better than me, but what you do right now is cheating for money!

We wan't our money back! If not.it's all a dizziness! It is enough, even on a beta. As long, you want to get money, it is a dizziness, if users who payed can't play. It's enough, i want my money back.

6 days ... what do you think? That we are stupid?

Haven't played for a couple of months (due to the poor performance on dual core systems). That performance problem seems to be much better (thank you), however I have yet to complete a game due to client crashes.

No errors, simply a CTD.
1280x1024
Settings as low as possible in options
Motion Blur off

GeForce 560ti w/ nVidia 310.90 driver (up to date)

Have not gotten any map other than Ice City Night, but all the games there have crashed almost as soon as melee starts.

Serious number of hangs in the current patch. It's gotten really bad, never used to crash like this. I7-3770k, gtx670, 120hz

Well, 6 days are enough. If it was only beta, i would not say anything, but you want money, and i lost money, cause i did not get what i payed for. Six(!) days, no reaction... so we all who have that freeze frame bug want our money back. We could not play as written in the contract we signd - and YOU signed. We want it back, cause yu broke the contract we all signed - or do you do dizziness to us?

It's enough, we waited long enoug.

Issue seems to be related to being nearby to LRM impacts. Playing with a mate using LRMs causes me to crash 1 in every 3 games.

No, it has nothing to do with lrms, it's a general issue, caused by what they call "Imporvement" Its about the game now uses Textures - i does not work on every hardware - and they have KNOWN that! It's wrong, and the game lost a lot of layers cause of it.

Well, i think, they have no interest in making it really stable. But what ever.... i'm a founder, but i do not pay ANY cent untill they make a stable game, No one should pay a single Cent for the game right now. 6 days, and not even an info, a posting, or what ever. So, they do want us as payers, not as a community...

Just so you know, I have not yet experienced a crash that did not involve a large amount of LRM impacts, and I know I can crash the game every round with a friend shooting a ton of LRMs.

Of course this is probably some particle/physics/texture issue, but as far as I see, LRMs are the easiest way of generating a failure situation, at least in my hardware.

I kind of feel bad that I'm probably losing at least 2 weeks of premium time because I can't play at the moment. Refund would be nice, but it's not like I'd be quitting over this.

Sorry for my fellow countryman's creative phrasing. Not that mine is much better....
But if Charly Chaplin gets away with that sauerkraut-speech in "The Dictator" then we should be entitled to some "false friends" at least. (You know, words that sound about right to us while the actual meaning if way off...)
Barking aside he's got a point though when it comes to money and premium time.
Lately there seems to be quite an increase in game crashes and while I don't mind them as a freeloader in a Beta, once money changes hands a service has to be rendered according to the terms of the deal.
The terms are X-days of PREMIUM game time.
NOT X-days of PREMIUM crashes.
A gesture of good will, say a reset of the Premium time bought since last Patch starting next Patch sounds about adequate.
Otherwise we might be forced to send our secretary of state.
Never a good thing.
Maybe even our chancellor.
You don't want that.
Ask anyone in Europe.
You REALLY don't want that... ;-P

No hangs last night.

I have however somewhat found a reliable way to cause it to happen, (at least to me) but its not 100% that any of this is the cause.

First step is to run a Flame, or possibly any dragon for me. (I have not frozen using any other mechs yet afaik)

Basically I have a CFG that I run via Keybind. (1 because we have no access to the console anymore, and 2 because its much easier than typing out the exec. :P )

I noticed that when I didn't use it, I seemed to suffer no freezes at all in the flame.

When I used it, almost every time during the startup sequence it would freeze. Sometimes even before that when showing the player list etc.
I removed everything from it bar my mouse sensitivity settings and it seems to not freeze now.

(I have also the User.cfg running some things however it has not caused issues. Just this keybinded cfg. (Which only had a few "cl_" commands and sys_maxfps so it seems like a long shot any of this means anything  )

I've been getting the screen freeze crash to desktop about once every 5-6 matches lately. Deleting the shaders folder did not work so I went for a full reinstall. So far, no crashes.

Meh, like everyone else with decent systems, play for awhile, the crash, restart the program, play a game or two then disconnect...its just gotten worse...

I don't know if the hot patch was a stability fix, because my black screen crash hasn't happened tonight since it patched.

only had one instance again tonight after at least 20 games (before it was 1 in 6, my ping is still in the 30's).

Managed to recover after about a minute after alt-tabing out (listed asnot responding in taskmanager); but alt tabbing back to mwo i could still hear combat. I managed Alt+enter back in. Wondering if running dual monitors with the application windowed is contributing factor (at least to my variation of this issue)

This issue is definately getting worse and I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with the whole damn thing.
I haven't been able to really play the game since the patch on the 5th. I've tried everything I can thing of. I've even went so far as to reinstall windows on my gaming machine to see if that would fix the issue. Unfortunately, It brought no relief to this issue.

I'm hoping for a refund for the premium time that has been wasted due to the game crashing.

This is getting very frustrating. This freeze happens to me with catapult c1, k2, centurion 9d, with the ilya, just in every mech i play. Best thing to reproduce the freeze is playing the c1 and watch your lrm hit a mech, just played my centurion and samone was hitting the dragon i was fighting with some missile, game froze. But it also happend with no lrms in sight, just laser and ballistics flying around.
Nothing overclocked, fresh install of the game, its just frustrating.
Win 7 64bit home premium, i7 3770k, 16gb ram, radeon hd7970.
Game settings at max, motion blur off, aa of.
Had no problems with the game before the feb 5 patch.

Looking at the last few pages of this thread it seems that this issue is happening on high end systems running intel chips + 6 series nVidia video cards.
Everyone mentions LRMs on screen/hitting target for this issue to happen. I would be great to get some offical feedback that their issue is being investigated.
