While the overall situation with Lights and fast mediums since the Jan 22nd patch is better, it has come with a side effect which is hurting my game massively, such that it's not fun to play.

Namely, during UK prime-time (apx 4pm through till about 10pm), my ping jumps from 120 to 180.

Now, the ping itself isn't the problem, but when this happens, I also warp all over the place - This is a massive problem.

I'll be moving my mech, and then all of a sudden I'll teleport several tens of meters to one side, as if I've bumped up against an invisible object and been shunted aside.

I'll line up an opponent for a nice shot, and then just as I hit the trigger, my mech will teleport tens of meters to the side, making my shot go well wide of the mark.

Another effect is lag-shielding is now on a totally new level.
I was recording a match this evening using Fraps - I was shooting an enemy Raven, but in order to hit him (using my torso reticle, so bear in mind the target should be centre-screen) I was having to shoot literally a whole half-screen ahead of him.
This wasn't one isolated player, it was everyone moving laterally, and it happens constantly during UK prime time.

Of course it isn't those players with a massive lagshield, it's me, warping all over the place.

This issue only appeared right after the Jan 22nd patch, so it's not my connection that has changed, it's a result of the new movement code.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the overall intention of the patch, but for me, it makes it utterly unplayable at the only time of day I'm really interested in playing; It's gotten to the point where I'll stay up late so I can play with my unit's American contingent, just so I can get a couple of playable games, but obviously, it has curtailed my interest severely.

Sorry for the negative feedback but obviously issues need to be reported and that's what feedback is for.

If it wasn't for this problem, and the recurring texture-bug on Frozen I'd vote for the last two patches to be the best yet.
