@Janitor, as I dont have a direct com-link to the flyboys, I was hoping to use my TAG to designate the position for the Po tanks so the fighters not carrying Arrows can make strafing runs on them. I know we've taken liberties already with the TAG devices on LRM guidance, but I think using it as a spotting tool in this instance would be "in keeping with the rustic aesthetic".

Thoughts?

i would just say that havok gave you a direct comm-link. as he did say you were the spotter.

Hmm... possible. Or I could have James pull something clever with the Raven's com system to pull up recent radio traffic and hack the secure line.
I'll work on something, if Janitor doesnt respond by the time I'm done I'll just post.

Either or works fine Shepard, and sure, you can target the Po's for the other flyboys, but be sure to state the second target is a company of tanks.

i would just call it a level II of tanks. (a level II is 6 units and is exclusively used by comstar at this point and time)

that's it, i am going to beat the crap out of the arty with a stick. or alternatively, punch a hole in the armor jam one of their shells in it then shoot the shell with my small lasers. talk about a point blank shot.

Plan Curb Stomp?

Meanwhile, all of the MechWarriors on the field are mentally patting themselves on the back for sticking it out and not going armor or aerospace. ;)

Bit of filler there for you all so Mist can do his thing, and we can find out what's at the base.
Oh, and in case you couldnt tell, James is pissed. He probably should have called the result of the airstrike in, but y'know, angry scott and all <_<

Tad brutal there Dal, but effective nonetheless.

James is a good minute behind you, so I'll post once Havok lance have dealt with the Chameleon and Havok has communicated with the fly-boys.

@Janitor, James will need a good description of the base so he can engage targets on his approach. Knowing if air support is still good would be nice also :D

i told you guys that Andrei was a ******. realize, this is ****** lite. Loyalist andrei would have you guys cringing half the time.

alright... why is sad ist censored... it is not vulgar, just a descriptive term meaning someone who enjoys inflicting pain.

note this did not intentionally sound hostile. it just came out that way.

Hmmm... PBI's against an assault mech. I think that 9 times out of 10 the PBI would be left alone, it just seems they weren't lucky this time.

to be realistic, the charger is basically an over sized 30 tonner.

also, i just realized this. i didn't need the rommel to kill the patton with my charge. if i can get the full 8 mp and land a solid hit, a charger does 64 (side of a patton is 51) on a charge while taking 8 (formula for damage done is hexes moved times 1 for every 10 tons. damage taken is 1 per 10 tons.). i undervalued my damage while overvaluing the damage taken (should have been 8 vs 10)

not counting masc superchargers or TSM, the charger has the highest single damage attack in the game...

janitor, what have you unleashed...

I'll get a post up at some point tomorrow. . .initial gut feeling is that Spokes is not in the mood to go chasing that Chameleon into God knows what.
