Ok I've been working around the clock to enhance, and decrypt the image. After having my computer run the image code through my decrpytion algorythm I've determined the picture is this guy.

Posted ImageYup it's underwater powered armor, I knew it.

Man, I miss that show. May be one of the first instances to get me into mechanical technologies and building exo-suits out of Construx.

OT:
Now with it appeared to be zoomed out a tad and the white transparency, a new thought comes to mind:
It is a photo mosaic as mentioned elsewhere but used as a background / thumbnail of a video. At least the transparent white semi-circle reminds me of a number of online video players with a 'play' button in middle of a full-size thumbnail / preview.

as terribly stupid as that show was I loved it as a kid as well. It was like oooh powered armor and stuff, on the dorkiest guys sporting 70's swinger mustaches. saweeet.

Us mech loving guys are getting old aren't we.

First mech was a commando, second mech is a Cicada if my hunch is right... there's a theory I'm following and so far the commando matches it, and if the second one is the cicada means I have an idea what the third image will be but likely it will be to throw off people.
But the first few images are not new mechs.

there is probably going to be a clan mech shown off, but doesn't mean it'll be in the game, and it's likely going to be the 4th image.

The mech that someone thinks is a warhammer, looks more like another mech but not jumping the gun on that one... Just looks like their putting images of the in game mechs and adding little puzzle pieces to each one.

Time for another picture. I'm more interested in the smaller images. It looks like two mechs as a design view from the front. Whats that missile podish thing on the top of the shoulder?? A reverse-ed Warhammer? It looks like another smaller mech standing next to it.

The left side of the middle picture strikes me as the arm and leg of a Crusader, or this could be the arm of the Phoenix Hawk. I do believe the other two pictures you linked from the day before and today are the left side of the Warhammer with the spotlight. This is probably all wish full thinking but they have not officially ruled it out so bring on the Mech's and lets saddle up for WAR.

Just trying to drive you all insane... (I'm already there.)

I'm just glad the countdown didn't end on Wednesday. The 6th of June has... too many canon meanings...

It can't be. No Clan mechs were in the Inner Sphere at this time. :(

Yes... But they were in the Periphery... Not sure how far out in the Periphery, but there was a note somewhere I saw that said the first attacks on the Pirate Kingoms may have been as early as late 3048...

Could it be that June the 6th was D-day? For those of you who are clueless allied beachhead invasion of Normandy, France during WWII. For those of you really really clueless think...call of duty...the old school one that you saw on YouTube when looking for COD4 pwnage vids.

Well at this point we don't know what to expect so everything is possible even D-day

None of the pictures comprising the bigger picture (which we don't have all the pieces to) are a new mech. The bigger picture may be, but everything else is all artwork they've already released.

Nope, periphery action didn't start until August of 3049. We're only in June of 3049 now. We won't see any clan mechs or anything for several months at least, and even then I doubt PGI will introduce clan mechs so soon after release. They'll probably allude to it via in game events but clan mechs won't be available for some time.

Hey all... just had an interesting realization about this.

Has anyone else wondered why the image is sort of in its own little window?

I'm wondering if Artemis is not a mech or anything like that (why would they go to all this trouble for a simple mech reveal?)... what if it's a mobile app that allows us to interact in some really unique way with MWO? Like a mobile mech lab, inner sphere map, etc... all the meta-gaming pieces of MWO. Thoughts?

Whatever Artemis is, I'm betting it's a major differentiator for MWO from other games of its ilk.
