More than the use you can get out of it. It really looks like it's just targeted for MWO, which hurts it even more. Pazer has yet to actually make something that's not a waste of money. You'd be better off just getting a flight control set up and working from there. hell you'd have better controls, throttle and a lot more buttons even with and old Saitek S52. Hell, over at newegg you can get a logitech system foe $300 that'll work with all your sims and give you full mech control here. Razor is just bad.....

It would be enough for me when we can export the radar screen to another monitor.
I could use my Thrustmaster Warthog and MFD Setup wich i use for DCS A-10.

But with the extras screen on artemis i think there is hope that we can export the radar to a normal second monitor.

Edit: And i forgot: Track-IR support would be a blast.

I doubt the controller will ONLY work for MWO. I'm sure it'll work for a variety of games and act just like a regular joystick. It was probably just created with MWO in mind.

how is that radar screen even practical its going to be actually be below the radar screen thats on the monitor so you would have to look down and away from the screen which I think is a disadvantege. Eitherway was hoping for some realy info or something worht the hype, 2 new mechs, 100 beta kets for the first person to click on the screen etc.

So, instead of being excited over an new awesome direction that the Dev's have taken, integrating with partners and making a specific controller for Mechwarrior, the beginning of an IN HOME mech pod, you guys would have rather seen more of the concept art hanging on Bryan's wall for months, which will look vaguely like the art in your TROs.

Wow.

As soon as I saw the image my smile stopped and I was disappointed. Not that I don't like the controller, but that this was WAAYYYY OVERHYPED. We didn't need this huge secrecy with a multiple day countdown to a teased announcement with clues. It's a controller.

Had this been more relevant data in regards to the game itself it would have been much more accepted I feel. Not to mention the fact that this controller will probably run at least $150 - $200.

I would say it is gonna be more in the 350-400$ range... depending on the screen quality.

Pretty weak. Lots of buildup for an advertisement for a tie-in product that's pretty tangential to the game itself and, what's more, doesn't even exist yet.

No, but mouse and keyboard people are bummed that they didn't get more art instead or something. I want the stick. I'm left stick/Right mouse, so i'll have to work it, but this looks modular.

Well it's kinda of cool but given that I had convince myself that it was a triple mech reveal of a Battlemaster, Thunderbolt and Shadow Hawk. It's Kind of hard to compete.

I also have a perfectly adequate and expensive Saitek Cyborg Evo Force, so the idea of a Razer joystick is that exiting to me.

Hmmm...flight sim getting boring while you're at cruising altitude with the autopilot on? No problem! With the integrated screen on your Razer Artemis, you can:

Surf the web!
Check your email!
Watch a movie!
Watch some pörn!
Play a game while playing a game, Inception-style!

I'm just curious if they actually thought the general public would be excited by this.. or if this really was a massive effort to troll?
