I see a few things missing but so people don't think it's a bug :

-Mechs now stay targeted after they die for around 2sec so players can see how they killed the target instead of losing the target right away.

This was a feature a long time ago, but something broke and a new feature fixed it up again.

I appreciate the clarification, but could we please get this fixed? Ok, great, I can see how I killed the enemy. Honestly? I could care less.

Could you please implement one (or more) of the following:

1. Make this an option for players on the client. Frankly, I hate this. I don't watch text to see if something died. When it dies, I lose the target. That's a pretty darn good indicator that it's dead. I would certainly turn this feature off were I able.

2. Make the target box flash until it goes away. When I see the flashing box, that would also be a good indicator that the target is in fact dead.

3. Remove this altogether and instead write a text log on the client that I could then go back and use to debrief after the fact. Frankly, I'd love a text log regardless of whether this feature is removed or not.

Thanks for your hard work.

this seems to be the best solution.

Wondering if they'll ever get round to fixing Frozen City occasionally loosing its textures.

All the while, loving the new content (even if it is possibly bugged, and just waiting for its moment to fritz out)

Yeah, while I understand you guys feel like this patch was a bit thin on the feature side, I think we need keep in mind the Devs have had their focus redirected to fixing stability and HUD bugs. As those are low level CryEngine bugs, it takes a lot of energy and efforts so I'd say it's somewhat normal that some features were postponed.
Hope you don't mind too much PGI working on eliminating those bugs before bringing in oodles of new content! ;)

It is something that the community has been asking for a long time.
I have seen too many players leave this game because of these "low level" bugs.

Fingers crossed, hope all goes well.

Someone on the very page before this one suggested the box turn grey which imo is the best suggestion out of all of them.

Does turning the box grey help the colorblind?

Why not a simple "fade to nothing" effect. It's simple, classic, and it doesn't need much explanation.

Yes, turning to grey should help most people that are color blind. Even if the individual has monochromacy it will change from one shade to another. Which would be close to the same effect as the box fading. For that matter it could switch to grey then fade.

Also monochromacy is pretty rare, the other forms of color blindness can differentiate between red and grey.
