No targeting comp available, and no ER med yet. So.. no ECM variant until then (at least it won't be available on its debut).

I like the fact that now it looks like when you DO "come at him" he won't snap at the ankles!
so you take my post which states my opinion of hey none of them excite me and turn it into some arrogant higher then the rest of us reply on your part. Get off the high horse of yours and join the rest of us in the "regular ordinary people" column.

Sounds a lot like a Trebuchet
Sure does (also; Ostroc), but one that can take a hit.
Same goes for pretty much any 60-tonner. Medium mech firepower(+) and speed, better durability.

I had one in Mechwarrior 2 Mercs and used an Orion throughout mechwarrior 3's campaign. Also have two of the plastic ones that came with Citytech 2nd edition. I have an Orion II-C mini as well, but we don't need to count that I guess since the clans won't be out until (likely) Summer 2014(3051).
I have owned a bunch, where did you get your info from?

The elbow blades are cool, hopefully they are wide enough to be used as shields.

What makes the Quickdraw "blatantly superior" to the Dragon? Surely not the JJs that everyone seems to be whining about. And the Dragon has ballistics where the Quickdraw wont. To me neither is superior, theyre just different.

Jets.
More hardpoints.
Better hardpoint layout.
No gigantic nose w/ super-wide arms.

How do we know the Hardpoint layout? I mean I can grab my TRO3025 and read it. But is there somewhere I've missed showing it for MWO?

Hardpoints are a concept invented by Microsoft when they made MW4 and continued by PGI for MWO. Hardpoints don't exist at all in canon.

We dont know the hard points or layout, we can only guess.
Jets arent all that.
Smaller CT may mean bigger STs making xl engines a deathtrap.

QQ I hate my dragon cause it dies faster than any other mech I own in any situation.
You're doing the dragon wrong then.

Actually, we do know the minimum hardpoints, and their locations, for the various possible variants.
4G (and 4H):
LA 1E
LT 1M (10)
CT 1M (4)
RT 2E
RA 1E
5A (and 5K)
LA 1E
LT 2E
CT 1M (4)
RT 2E
RA 1E
5M isn't likely due to it having a "one-shot" launcher, and it has the same hardpoints/locations as the 4G and 4H anyway.

Yes, we have a canonical base to work from, but all i am seeing is that the Quickdraw will be a heat beast while the Dragon can use a ballistic to cool off. Again, neither better just different.
