Riddle me this, Batman.....
PGI has publicly acknowledged that there is a problem with the hitboxes on the smaller mechs..namely the Spider and Raven. They have even gone so far as to say that not only are they aware that the problem exists, they plan to fix it once they've determined what the issue is.
Granted, they haven't done anything to implement a fix yet....so, I think it's safe to assume they aren't putting much in the way of time or resources into resolving the issue.
So, what do the players do? Well, like every other time we've seen a problem crop up in the game, we find a way to work around the issue.
Most uf us have figured out that you can still hit the little buggers with MGs or LBX-10s. My guess why those work has more to do with a randomization of both hits and crits since so many projectiles are being put out into an area...but, whatever, they both still worked.
NOW...PGI decides that instead of fixing the hitbox issues with the lights, they're going to NERF both the MGs and the LBX-10s as far as taking out the glitchy mechs are concerned.
I mean, seriously? You know there's something broken in the game and you're going out of your way to make sure it STAYS broken? Dude. It's almost as if the government is running the patches.
