If I unlock a given module to say lvl 2, buy it, then later unlock lvl 5, the module I bought will automatically "upgrade" correct?

Correct.
I had bought a few when they were L2, they're L5 now.

I'm not sure specific dates have been announced for specific warhorns, but they seem to be coming out with the Clan 'mechs.

The total XP on the HUD in Modern Reward Display Mode will show the previous XP total if user is receiving rewards that have zero XP such as the 'Conquest Pulse' reward.
Means that sitting on cap in assault and the xp shown being earned during cap is false. Correct?
I ask because I was capping base and thought I was earning xp but at the end of match screen there was no xp for capping.
Thanks.

Yep, it's a bug that shows the old XP amount instead of 0 XP.

Also, the button to exchange Xp is grayed out. I have 9k extra xp on one Hunchback...
Edit: I found how to use the GXP with a forum search. Still haven't figured out the Xp exchange yet.

Do you have MC? It costs MC to exchange XP.
Usually 25XP/1MC, goes on sale for 50XP/1MC every couple of months. I never convert except during sales.

Depends on what you mean by 'one shot kill'. If you mean, one _alpha_ (firing all of your weapons at once), yes, it is, to either the Head component, or the rear of a 'Mech with very front-loaded armour. If you mean is there 1 weapon that does so much damage it can kill something in 1 shot, not that I know of. In certain circumstances, such as hitting a Locust with an AC/20 round on a Side Torso (or, again, the Head), it might be possible if you destroy the XL engine. Other than that, no, not that I know of.

I'm just wondering because I had 10 rear armor, no damage and took one alpha shot in the rear from a summoner that killed me instantly - seems a bit unrealistic. 5 seconds later he did it to a teammate, although, I don't know if the teammate had taken any prior damage. I had a standard engine.

Additionally, it's possible that someone else participated (possibly from long-range, or you just didn't notice it. If a 2x Gauss/ERPPC Dire Wolf was 500m away, but you saw the Summoner, and it was the Summoner who got the kill, that would be more than enough to kill you, even if not all of the shot hit.
TL; DR: It's possible, along with possibility of help from someone else that you didn't see, especially from the rear and if they got lucky with the crits.

I know he was alone because the rest of his team died shortly afterwards. They were in front of me. However, the gauss cerppc would do it alone, right? I was running a hunchback with lasers only so no ammo for him to explode.

5x Artemis SRM6 in your back can bring you dead very fast and is one of the quite dangerous builds of the Summoner.
