This will bring short to medium cover back into play LRM will need more direct line of sight to do any real damage. Powering down will not be a abused way of breaking a LRM lock.

I really hope this is a joke... LRM's are useless in any competitive group and even in PUG's rely heavily on teamwork that is often absent. Making LRM mechs require greater line of sight to the target makes LRM's useless - their ONLY reason to exist is indirect fire. If line of sight is more heavily needed, just switch to a high-alpha direct fire build like everyone else and ditch the LRM's. Ugh...
