I think they should make the first four clan mechs(Kit Fox Nova Thor and Direwolf) purchasable fairly quickly. I really hope they dont release one mech a month, If its ullers for MC on june 17th and then for cbills the next month and so on in that fashion its gonna be a loooooong time before people even get direwolves.

Russ stated 2 Clan 'Mechs from the pack will be released each month.

Sorry, but the Mad Dog is definitely more iconic. And sexy.

And we Ghost Bears appear to have missed the boat when it comes to iconic Clan 'Mechs.

Ah, yes, 100 tons of cuddly Ghost Bear love moving 65 kph. Now, unless I missed it's announcement, which I very strongly doubt, we have yet to have any of our iconic 'Mechs announced. +1 for the pic though.

They probably didn't put it in because they can't balance its firepower.

Apparently, I am a 'Knight Errant' for purchasing a single Clan 'Mech A La Carte.

Check your profiles people, we've got Clan Badges. (Really hope I'm not the last one to find out about this...)

If you see yourself playing long term, get what classes suit your playstyle if you dont want to get the big pack!

Yes, Clan Wolf has their Iconic mech, though we are still missing the Ice Ferret (among others)...Linebacker sure would be nice too...though it is a few years out still...(1 year if this is 3051)

Clan pack is all Omni's, Kodiak is not an Omni.

Might be a while even if Clan 2nd line do come in.

:o

Hence the need for a Mad Dog, which was widely used amongst the Ghost Bears.

Just bought my three Favorite Golden Kahn Mechs, Timber Wolf, Summoner and Kit Fox...
$1500 worth of Awesome!!!
And I'll be running them in my Birthday Suit... I Love the feel of the Corinthian Leather Seats...

NOT!!!

In fact I'll be waiting to at least find out how the Clan Mechs will be loaded out and with what...
Before I buy a single Chassis.
And you Will Not be seeing me in a Gold Kahn Mech... Thank You Very Much!

One chassis I'd like to see is the Kodiak!

Best Regards,
-ShoeButton

From what I understand, it is not MASC that causes problems but mechs moving too fast for the current hit detection. If that is the case than the Executioner should be green to go. That, and the Shadowcat, eventually. Yes, The Shadowcat has MASC, too.

Humm... This is true. No one is getting an Executioner past 100kph I am guessing. Kodiak and Executioner are both Ghost Bear iconic Mechs. They started as the same prototype but the project split into the two separate projects.

I'm not going to get a clan pack, but not for butthurt reasons. I simply don't want a Kitfox, and I am not going to pay for mechs that I do not want again.

For me, I am saving up the C-bills (Kerenskys) to buy the Clan 'mech I want, and I'll grind it like a champ.

You do realize there's a craft your own pack option, right? You can skip the Kitfox if you want.

Not only the hit detection. There is also a CryEngine speed limit i remember. This means that MASC is holding Flea and others in an indirect way :o

Does the Shadowcat have MASC too? I am not very familiar with it, thank you for reminding me!

If they cannot push this limit and get the MASC implemented then they can add the Ice Ferret, the most common medium 'Mech in the Wolf touman.
