well, uss said on his twitter account that after 3333 they will start to 'balance' mechs... like they did the Victor... so expect your premium mechs to suck really bad while they push buying clan mechs.

Do any of you really think Paul reads this?

Well. . . no, probably not. But he doesn't play the game either. Maybe one of the other devs will take pity on us and give the community a launch module, sans suck. Paul need not ever know. :(

If that means Paul's nerfhammer is in use, then we'll be seeing light mechs nerfed to the level of the Spider-5V...

:(

No fan boy, I support them. I've ripped em up. But give them their dues. Since UI 2.0, The have been putting out some content and fixing some shit.

Maybe not addressing YOUR immediate needs. But there is a butt ton of stuff they are working.

Daaaamn. They even DID a little bit to SRMS which they said somewhere they would NOT touch until after CW.

Some of yall cant have everything YOU want, in ONE PATCH.

Breaking them down daily, telling them "They suck", "Incompetent", "Get another team" ...........ECT,,,,,,how does that help anything? They are building this game for us ( and for them ). But motivation only makes it better.

Bet bottom dollar...........that's why they don't respond here, or pretty much anywhere. Yall blow em up. Just hate and discontent.

Really dude? Like, where have you been since CB?

The sooner that you accept that there is no CW, and that there never will be CW, the easier you will find playing the game to be.

I want nothing more than to love this game. I have waited 15 years to resume the battles of MPBT 3025.
But if I can't play with my friends (all of them, not just 3 or 11 of them), and have a purpose doing it. My love for the IP becomes outweighed by the desire for substance.

I signed on to fight for the glory of House Marik against the lederhosen wearing Steiners. Not measure my Epeen on the ladders of Solaris 7.

Absolutely. I get that a lot of PUG players get all bent out of shape about grouped players, but there are a whole lot of us WHO REALLY PREFER PLAYING ALONGSIDE GROUPS.

I can't really emphasize that enough. Please, allow us to join the group queue. Please.

Ummm....then join a team? ;)

I actually wonder how many games Heffay has played since the stat reset.

I get the odd feeling I've gotten more matches in than the white knight.

I'd love to, but can't. My situation is extremely common in fact - I personally know dozens of gamers in the same boat: Fatherhood.

With young children, my gaming time is completely random and frequently interrupted by all manner of random catastrophes. Add in a wife, and rotating shift work, I can't garauntee I can ever play for more than a drop at a time. Sometimes I can get a couple drops in, rarely lots, but the important point is that its random and unpredictable.

Would you want to be grouped with someone who randomly has to wander off for random amounts of time? Do a couple drops, then I need to leave for 15 minutes. And other drop, and I've got to leave for 20
My spot in the group gets replaced by someone e who can reliably put in a continuous chunk of play right quick, and I don't blame them at all.

Teams? I can never make scheduled _anything_. Practice? LOL!

Then for flavour add in the inability to use VOIP most of the time: sleeping babies that can't be woken, ears that need to be open to hear the toddler eating the cat, etc.

I dearly wish I could be a part of a group, but its just not in the cards for me. Not for a few years yet.

So, given that, I'd much prefer to drop alongside groups. Mass solo drops are annoying as everyone hares off to do their own thing. When I drop with premises now, I'll pick one I'm best suited to work with and attach myself to them. You get good at "reading their minds" and contributing even without comms.

The games are so much better that way.

Long post short: there are LOTS of players who vastly prefer organized play, but cannot join teams. Being able to solo drop in the group queue gives them the next best thing.

This I totally get, but if you'll allow me a moment.

Not all "teams" are that way. Most are just a casual collection of people who enjoy playing together after they've found and settled in with a "like crowd". I can't tell you how many times I've heard "Crap, kid is inventing the 'cat'apult, brb" or "my dog has decided the couch is evil and needs to be destroyed, afk" on teamspeak over the years. The rest of us just laugh it off, drop you out of group until you return or just wait.

Not all teams have schedules, training and commitment requirements. To them it's just about fellowship and fun.

Thanks, just wanted to dispel the myth that all teams are competitive slave drivers, where if you miss a practice, you're out of the unit.

Hell, I play with guys who frequently have to turn their mic off because of a sleeping baby, and just play with their headsets so the know what's going on.
