No, it was a failure of the Matchmaker. the other premade was not related to us any way.
Don't get me wrong, I see great exploiting of the 3/3/3/3 system with syncing, but that's another story.

Cool for you though getting to make your movies. w/o filmgrain or cockpit glass. Hooray for sliders that should have been in settings since...ever.

So you don't have any screenshots of your friends list having 10 people online in it?
I mean, it seems like since you said you always had 10 guys in your list online at any given time, it'd be trivial to just take a screenshot of it right now, since it should have 10 people online right now.

Who knows what he's getting at. My friends list in WoW was 99% empty practically all the time. I guess that means it was dying all these years.

It would show that among some people, they have many people on their friends list online at any given point in time.

Back in beta, my friends' list was pretty much full, all the time. There were always tons of people online. Now none of those people are ever online.

But I am willing to acknowledge that perhaps this is not universally true. That perhaps other people still have tons of their friends online at any given time.

Rebas and Heffay say that's the case... so a screenshot of their friends lists would prove that to be true.

It's not I was saying anything about your crusade against PGI, I was just asking questions because I don't really understand this whole rant.

I wouldn't expect you to have some screenshot of it sitting around.
I'd expect you to open up the client right now, and take a screenshot of it, since it should require effectively zero effort to do so.

It is funny though, that from the screenshot from someone else, you can see that their list is actually quite huge, and only has 6 people online.

If I were to take a pic right now, there's only 5 on, 4 in a drop... and none of them from my unit (we did play on the PTS server though).

Ok then. It'd be more effective if you just did it right now since it would support your "any given time" argument, but any screenshot would be better than nothing.

Honestly, I'm kind of expecting that you actually would have tons of people online, given that you still totally love the game and probably wouldn't be as excited if the folks you played with had all abandoned the game... but I figured if even you couldn't field a list with good activity, it would certainly be indicative of an issue.

Let me break it down.

No grouping mechanism for groups larger than 4 and less than 12 (usually I have 6-9 friends on at any given time that I want to group with)
Only option given is Premium Private Match system that requires
-3rd party system as there is no built in system to find a group of equal numbers, or putting groups larger than 4 together.
-Requires group leader of each team to carry Premium Time (and later MC)
For those hoops I get:
-No Cbills
-No XP
-No Acheivements
-Charged for consumables
-A well stroked Epeen

So, I can either use MC to advance myself in the game (purchase mechs, convert GXP, Buy Cbills) or return to the Derpqueue and roll the dice on the PUGlottery, with 3 friends only.
