Even after almost everyone else left, and we were down to two-versus-two, these were still close, with the winning team losing half of their 'mechs each time. Earlier, one of the crazier matches was one of the best I've ever seen; our loss was a result of one of the enemy player suggesting a coordinated charge to his team, which they then did in a most impressive manner. This is how Mechwarrior was supposed to be played! Good show, everyone.

A Prime example being that Orion Variant that happens to have the perfect Hardpoint layout for the MAD-3R.
Or are they WYSIWYG
Edit: For wrong Marauder Variant

Hopefully, more people will soon realize that the Raven 4X is a good, solid, fun 'mech in T1 stock matches and will start running them. Come on, folks! I urge everyone to get a stock 4X and give 'er a good hard try! (I'm looking at you, too, Jeager!) I want to see a flock next Monday. Vive la Ravenlution!
And I'm also very glad to see that the match ("SMM: 37") with the other team's glorious shock charge is there -- it deserved to be recorded. Thanks a ton for uploading those!

Good games, all! I really think the Red Rover personnel shuffling worked well.

No stock day allows a pseudo Marauder build, but on Wednesday you can build some missing variants - if you wish you can peruse what is allowed on that day at this link: Stock Mech Eras: Master Mech List

Indeed! I only regret not being a part of that initial charge over the edge. Seeing the panic in Straith's eyes must have been glorious!

That was the purist stock mech players still have Mondays, but players who want to play variants, pseudostock mechs and modified mechs within the tight bounds of the 3025 Tier 1 rules can still go all out on Wednesdays.

Is it permissible to NOT downgrade from DHS to SHS, but to leave the same tonnage open that WOULD be used for SHS and use only enough DHS to attain the same heat values as SHS?

Unfortunately, no. Your engine double heat sinks will always remain doubles, so in practicality, your heat values will always be improved over your SHS counterparts. Add into that fact that some mechs (Hunchback 4P) store external heat-sinks in the left shoulder that can be taken out to impare the pilot, and it'd be an unfair advantage.
