I'm being serious here, you may want to remove the reference to Duke Nukem Forever. I don't think anyone in the entire industry considers that a AAA title.
Regarding buying out the rights from IGP, that's great. I'm skeptical that things will necessarily improve, but hope springs eternal.

As someone who lives on the West Coast that would be a welcome change. My ping is ALWAYS, ALWAYS in the 90s in this game.
Uhm... why do you think they moved datacenters a week or so ago.... they were moving out of IGP's paid for space into cheaper space for that was paid for by PGI.

Freeing game developers from the constraints and pressures of their publishers can only be a good thing!
MWO and your community engagement has really improved since UI2.0 release and although sometimes it is a bit hard, my faith has been restored in you guys.
Keep the BattleTech/MechWarrior passion going guy and make the MechWarrior game you've always wanted to... and people will come to play it.
Good luck PGI!

As some have said, it's all on you now to make it right. And you know what? I think you can.

This can only mean good things (I hope!) and I think is a solid decision by PGI. Well done.

That being said, can we start with reverting some of the screwy nerfs like the JJ change. Then can we get on a more reasonable based cost structure so that basic things like Camos, Colors and warhorns don't cost us an arm and a leg. Finally can we get an actually functional Clan Wars that has real scope and depths.
I guess I don't want much do I hehe. Anyway it would be really, really nice to see PGI come back to the forums and actually start listening to us in regards to what we actually want in the game that we pay for.

It means we have no intention of stopping any time soon.
And no IGP never owned us, all those theories are just silly. We have been around for 15 years they formed in 2011 for publishing games. The fact that Infinite Game Publishing ended up being PGI backwards was just one of those things I never even realized until the first consipracy theories

I heard if you play Betty's voice backwards it sings Stairway to heaven lyrics :|

I think that's to do with the Harmony Gold company holding the patents to those designs... not IGP

I wish you all the best. May your vision be unrestricted and your interaction with us hopefully now be far more personal.
I, for one, welcome our new old PGI overlords.
