Finsihed 16th in clan lights played about 2 to 4 hours a night

23 vaild wins for c-bill all in my kit fox's.

Posted Image

Used a kit fox the whole time, either with 1 uac5 and 3 ml's, or 2 erLL and 1 ML

Best game was a 6 kill 6 assist 845 damage game. Had several 4 kill games, however could not make up much ground last night as the LRMS in the que were pretty over powering in that I had to hide for a go and shoot uav's down for a good portion of the map. Was still able to get kills, but not a lot of damage. Raised my KDR on my 2 kits fox from around 1 to 1 to almost 3 to 1 in the challenge (I had not played them alot before this)

I'm extremely happy and surprised with my 14th spot in Clan Heavies. I'm definitely not that good. My best matches were actually on Saturday, even held 1st spot for a while, after that I couldn't really move my points.
Got 50 valid wins overall, but I didn't track how many matches I played. probably around 100.
My KDR was raising though throughout the tournament, so this is a success story for me. :)

Eglar's tournament tracker is something I'll also use next time.

6th in IS Heavy Bracket with a Quickdraw 5K. before going to bed i was 5th =/
hard to reach a massive amount of kills in a support mech tho.
most of time you damage and damage but just dont get the last shot due to high alpha guns wrecking it.
still, beaten my score and rank from last tournament, overall satisfied =)

Trying to elite my Stormcrows and playing the couple hours I had between work, school, my kids and my wife (she made me drive us to the Oregon Mystery Spot which was hours away and the stupidest tour I have ever been on), I ended up with my 10,000,000 c-bills and 68th place in Clan mediums. I played about five hours the whole weekend. The first day I was 16th place before going to bed and having stuff to do over the weekend. I played a little bit on Sunday and a couple games yesterday morning. Suppose more time and dedication could have gotten me the more refined games needed to place on the leaderboard, but I'm happy getting the x2 bonus on my Stormcrows and the bonus c-bills.

Spent most of the Weekend working on my house: new hardwood floors going in after total structural failure.

Anyways, 429 for IS lights, running a Jenner. Most of the time, If I was playing well, the rest of my team was derping; 600 damage and three kills for me (hello to the Heavy Metal I legged to death,) and the rest of my team scrubbed out.

Also placed 3,368 for IS mediums because I played one match in my Unmastered, SHS gauss Cent and got smashed.

Got the 10 mill and in the process got on the leaderboard. Was #9 Sunday morning but naturally it did not hold with so many good players on.

Finished #15 Heavy IS.

Had a couple good matches Friday in my Ember while playing with various mechs, decided to make an effort, set myself a personal goal of a 2100 score and finished with 2104, 20th in IS lights. Probably about 70 games total played in that category.

I played last night and ended up at 515 for IS assaults. The quality wins were not coming last night. Only netted four of them.

Well I started off really good, averaging over 210 points each for my first 7 Victories, then my internet connection decided to go all awry and my pings went up from 70ms to 400ms at while point I found out that 70% of your hits don't register at 400ms pings.

In one match while playing with 400ms pings I unloaded 240 rounds of UAC/10 ammo into a group of mechs stuck in the tunnel, plus kept up the fire from 5 C-ER MLs at the same time. They were so stacked in there was no way I could miss. End of match I had zero kills, 3 assists and 288 damage.

Needless to say, I couldn't pull off additional any 200+ point wins with those types of results. I ended up with 1866 on my Clan Assaults and 1766 on my Clan mediums. Real bummer after such a great start to the tourney. Well at least I ended up with my 20 qualifying wins to earn the extra 10 million.

I love the challenges but haven't had time on a weekend to put into one in a very long time. The cbill bonus was a nice supprise and gave me something to work for in the 2 hours I had to play on Friday.

Split my time between is lights and clan assaults so didn't even get enough matches to get a score but I made some cbills so it's all good.

Honestly didn't even play this weekend; I remember the first version of the event. Getting intentionally teamkilled by people wanting to make sure that their friends / unitmates would win Clan Heavy (and they themselves Clan Assault,) having people run through me then yell at me for not letting them retreat, and people constantly getting between my guns and the enemy for the purpose of having my guns not hit the enemy so that theirs could instead.

Not fun.

I avoided the game entirely over the weekend because solo drops are bad enough without people being encouraged for poor behavior (desperately aiming for the kill shot, playing whatever builds they possibly can to max out their damage)... Not to mention the matchmaking is inevitably even worse than usual.

Came in 2nd for clan lights with my wub-fox. After I got my score of 2,117 I just couldn't get any more games where I scored over 200 points, I was happy I held first place for awhile since I decided to do the tournament for fun, can't complain with 2nd any ways :) . And for those that are wondering I had 45 games that counted towards the 10 million c-bills.

I wanted to see how the WubShee placed, so I played a couple dozen rounds.

It ended at 2013, which is much better than expected. After tweaking it a bit, and switching between it and the 3E for quick matches (which the MM refused to provide) I ended with 2098, in 34th place with IS assaults, exclusively Banshees scored.

37 valid wins. Didn't get to grind Sunday or Monday though, probably for the best.

I really enjoyed the tourney. I concentrated on clan meds(ie the Stormcrow) . Didnt achieve goal of top 30. I noticed that there seemed to be alot of "tough" games and couldnt break out any of the 4-6k multiple assist @1000 pt damage games i would have needed to advance score. My games trending that way tended to roflstomp versus my team... Still think i improved technique and had some memorable matches with high ELO players where i felt i held my own.

Cant ask for more! (OK the 10mil cbills will be nice!)

Started the week end leveling up my kit foxes but quickly saw that it would take a lot of very lucky matches to get some 130 point matches to get thoses juicy c-bills

Thus went for my 2 old money makers. Catapult A1 (6 x lrm5) and Awsome 8R (1x LL + 4 x lrm15 + tag)

Result 4th place on Heavy IS (got bumped down from 3rd place on Monday) which I only noticed when I finished validating the 20 needed matches to get the 10k c-bills, as I honestly didn't think I had a chance getting into the 10th

With lrms you easily get at least 70-80 points by assists early in the match and then its all about making those lrm showers count. As long as your team doesn't go suicidal "spread out all over the map" gigs you are going to hit a lot of red thus do a lot of damage thus have your team win. Chances are you are probably going to get 2-3 kills and the end result is you've scored aboce the 130 points needed to get juicy c-bills ^^

Yeah its certainly cheap tactic but hey the math was what it was. The fact that lots of people went for heavy and assaults builds means that ECM was pretty rare and just opened the way for LRM rain. Heck I was even suprised many of them didn't carry AMS

I believe my best match was a 7 kill with 1200 something damage with my catapult.

Kudos to the people who had good scores with medium and lights as that showed real skill (and/or lots and lots of matches all week end ...)

I only made it to 672nd... or 1,445.... in the Clan Assault category.

I lost 33 matches in a row. Most of them absolute steamrolls. I stopped trying yesterday and didn't do much Sunday either. Was just too brutal. Why did I do so poorly, considering I usually do much better? Not sure. I don't think I'm terrible but I guess I am compared to others. I think many people weren't worried about their team more than anything, it was just their own personal scoring. Was that even a thing? Not sure.

It wasn't fun though. Unfortunately. It was probably fun for those higher ranked players but I can't imagine it was any sort of enjoyment for those who just didn't stand a chance. And these losses weren't close matches by a long shot. They were absolute 12-0 stomps, maybe 12-2... people we just getting ripped apart, including myself.
