I think I remember playing Bard's Tale well back before CDs existed.
If I remember right (been a looong time) it was a good game.
Only had one of the floppies though (and I was just learning to read)- so I cannot comment much though.
It is one who's name I have remembered over the years - which probably says something.
Only other ones who's names I consistently remember from that period that I had would be Jumpman and Rampage - had a lot of unlabeled disks though.

I laughed when I read your post... I played Bard's Tale on the Commodore 64 using 5 1/4" floppies and a tape drive! The second game I ever played on computer after Ultima III.

It's been a long, long time but I remeber buying a boxed copy of Pirates moon, I only remeber playing it once though, and bumping into an OpFor Atlas on the first mission, and being in something much smaller, that didn't fair well after jumping over a hill and into the backside of that Atlas...
Edit:
I found an image online of the box.

Welcome, I wish I could go back and play MW 2/GBL/Merc as well as MW 3/ Pirate's Moon again, it would be nice to do it as an adult with all the years I've had in tactical thinking now... not to mention the better understanding of the games now, than "Giant stompy robots!!!" that I had when I was younger.

At least the old miniatures, some I actually painted, will go to people who will use them rather than throwing them all in the metal recycling.

Those being the original Behemoth, Aiden Pryde's Timber Wolf, 2 Scyllas, the Bounty Hunters power armor, and 2 custom made Ragnaroks from Mechassault (yes I did make some pretty beast Ragnaroks for TT)

Got these in the mail. Along with a new copy of Midtown Madness 2.
Vengeance was..... special.... and not in a good way...
After playing MW3, you'll be surprised just how bad it looks by comparison, and that the game play isn't as smooth, nor is the mech lab as nice.

Comstar Level II: (Missing a Spartan and other Ontos is out of picture)
