- Wolfhound: Phelan Kell's "Grinner" or Zachary “Hawk” Hawkins' Grit.

Medium:
- Enforcer: Daniel Waylen's mech from "The Fox's Teeth" company.
- Crab: ?

Heavy:
- Grasshopper: Tor Miraborg's mech (maybe named by his nickname "Iron Jarl" or maybe "Mjolnir"? Should have a lot of structure quirks and viking themed painting). Or Lord Stephan Roark's custom Grasshopper (with ECM!)
- Black Knight: Mordon Greensburg's mech, from the Greenburg's Godzillas (green scaled pattern);

Assault:
- Zeus (Sealth's Native-American themed "Skokomish", with a larger engine cap).
- Mauler (Zachary Miles "Hawk" Hawkins' mech, from the Battletech animation series).
- King Crab ('King' Hopper Morrison's pirate themed mech ["King Cobra"? - a referece to the unit's symbol and the pilot's nickname] or Corinth Brody's corporate security themed mech from the Nightwatch) I would love to see this paint scheme (it fits both heroes).

It looks like I nailed most of the hero mechs!

• Mist Lynx: some Smoke Jaguar hero (iconic user) or Clan Wolf (second greatest user)
  
• Fenris: Peter Wolf's mech (Clan Wolf)
  
• Mad Dog: some Smoke Jaguar (designers) or Ghost Bear (iconic user) hero
  
• Hellbringer: some Hell's Horses (designers) or Jade Falcon (iconic user) hero
  
• Gargoyle: Ulric Kerensky's mech (Clan Wolf)
  
• Arctic Cheetah: some Ice Hellion (designers) or Smoke Jaguar (iconic user) hero
  
• Shadow Cat: some Nova Cat hero
  
• Ebon Jaguar: some Smoke Jaguar hero, of course
  
• Executioner: some Ghost Bear (iconic user) hero or Vandervahn Chistu's mech (Jade Falcon)

• Orion IIC: some Clan Wolf hero, of course

EDIT: that's 13 mechs... they could leave the IICs out, making an "Invasion Heroes" pack with 9 mechs, I guess.

We got the Deputy Dawg/K-9 so hopefully other mech forum campaigns (like the Nightstar) will make it in soonish.

They will probably skip the IIC for now. That said? Clan Nova Cat apparently used the hell out of the Jenner IIC. To the point where it was one of their primary light mechs. I suppose they were drawn to its extensive use of missiles in the first variation of it. Nova Cats only went really nuts with energy after Tukkayyid, due to lessons learned regarding supply lines and ammunition.

As for the Hunchback IIC, was there not a Falcon pilot in that cartoon that used one?

Clan Ghost Bear also really loved the Jenner IIC... Speed and firepower!

Yea, the Hunch Back IIC was piloted by Pytor a Solahma..... As well as being piloted by Jade Falcon chump pilots too...

I am just trying not to get my hopes up to much, or get in the mindset that it is happening just yet for my mech...

Really want to go crazy though seeing the Mk II. If it is announced mid day sometime while I am work....hope no one is around my area >.<

Yep, there was, and it's turned out just like the roadmap said. So now I suppose it's finally put to rest to expect to see two new IS Heroes announced for preorder in March, for two new unannounced IS Chassis, with at least one being 3060+ timeline. Who knew, right? I mean, it was only there in plain text on the roadmap.

I would be happy too, but there are many good options. There is still the danger of pure nostalgia baits like the Crusader or the Annihilator, there are many good late 50ies and 60ies Mechs, and there are even some good Star League Mechs competing with the Nightstar.
I just hope PGI does not totally give in to nostalgia. Some nostalgia Mechs are fine, but the Nightstar and many other never-seen-before Mechs deserve to be in MWO too.

I hope not. The one and only claim to fame of the Uziel is the cover of an old game; in the lore it is at best insignificant and there are a lot of question marks regarding its MWO performance (especially geometry; low cockpit...). It is not Annihilator-bad, but PGI could do better.
Keep in mind I am a fan of medium Mechs and a fan of Defiance and Steiner. I might buy it, but I would not expect much.
