I do not share the same opinion as you.

I have to choose a machine according to the map I entered.

I have no problem with the machine, except for maps with lava.

You literally can't do that in this game. You don't have control over which map you play aside from the vote, so speccing mechs for one map or another is a fool's errand.

if dropship comes with new coming update. that will be enough for me.

I can't choose the map, but I can choose the machine.

same what does it matter.

I choose a ballistic machine on a hot map.

I don't understand why you are bothered. Don't you want to fight on a map you want?

I think it can be done if desired.

For example, if you don't like sniper maps
you don't choose that map.

to be able to choose the machine I want.
being able to choose the weapon I want.
there are many kinds.


Why not maps?

I think it would be nice.

This can be done if you think of the pyramid horizontally rather than vertically.

1) That is not a good Hellbringer build. Id suggest trying 2 HLL, 4 ERML, 25 DHS, or 2 LPL / 4 ERML 22 DHS.

2) Those stats dont really make sense. Is the total damage missing a digit? Because otherwise thats 57 dmg per match, which doesnt really fit with 117 kills.

my favorite thing to do to deal with snipers is LRm, thugh it does require work since LRM have been nerfed into the ground over the years. max out range (with some nice mech range quirks) and sensor range (with a Beagle for some added boost) and i can hit a target at over 1,000m (not that this is not optimal use of LRMs as they work best at closer to 400m-500m, but it gets that sniper to dive for cover, every time he pops out to take a shot i give him some rain.). its not the easiest thing as it requires not only work but patience and hopefully a team willing to press the R key now and again.

Sorry it wasn't copied properly. The build you suggest is very weak.

HLL 18 dmg x4
I think that's nice for quick and quick damage :)

2x HLL + 4x ERML is one of the stronger builds (as is its hotter counterpart, 2x + 5x, or on bigger mechs, 2x + 6x) for a very specific reason: You don't incur ghost heat when you alpha, so you can fire all your lasers *at the same time*. Alphaing 4HLLs will cook yourself regardless of map, so you've gotta stagger them, which increases the window in which you're exposed to counterfire and means the enemy has more time to twist away or get behind cover, meaning you waste some of your theoretical damage output.

Also, 4x HLL is a much heavier loadout, which means you have to skimp on armour and sinks on what is already a very hot weapons package.

In sum: You're running one of the hottest weapon packages, which is one that is not ghost heat free, you're skimping on sinks to do it, and you're standing in lava.

And you think it's the *map's* fault you're overheating?

You also need to consider sustained fire. Putting a lot of damage downrange in one hit can be very effective, but if you then cant fire again for 30sec you have put yourself at a severe disadvantage if you are flanked.

While it can be a valid tactic to have such a high pinpoint alpha, you have sacrificed a lot to do it. When the soft spots you have given yourself are exploited, you gave yourself that weakness and that's just how it goes.

You were given solid advice about dropping 2xHLL. Give it a try, or if you feel you need to, just drop 1 in exchange for some heatsinks and give it a go

thank you guys, i have already tried these.

I am aware of the timeframe. and I am conscious of that. The time interval doesn't matter when doing hit and run behind a hill.

I know that the enemy can attack at any time. I agree that this is its weaknesses.

dude i use it normally on other maps. and i don't have any problem.

I just can't use it on hot maps.

Remember, every machine has a weak spot.

Even a 100-ton atlas has a weakness.
4 MGs and a fast mech are enough to knock this down.
