I think something like the EBJ with the right set of omnis reduce CD of HAGs a bit much would be the target of that HAG CD nerf -- SLIGHTLY, but mostly I just don't see the point of the +0.5s CD nerf, it's always been about lining up a volley properly so you end up not shooting every CD anyways.

The Zero-Spread is kind of what I liked, the Volley Duration always had shafted the weapon so much. My issue is that, it's still a ****-ton of damage, and now you are doing it reliably over 810m, effectively rewarding complacency of picking a perch and staying there when before it was just good-old farm.

Yes, you prohibit HAG-Vomits even more with the heat-nerf -- good job, I guess you did what you set out to do. I know mid-range alpha is a problem, but at least they have to be in the thick of it, and comes with understandable risk of retaliation, and that's something harder when you're fighting from a distance. I'd rather we weigh in more that risk-reward to HAGs, like HGRs requiring close-range for full effect but can still participate mid-range and long-range albeit some damage reduction -- that's one way to curb mid-range alpha, after all range is "damage-lite".

Maybe time will tell whether it's good or not, but I do predict that it'll just promote cancerous playstyles using HAGs.

5 GR mech is not a problem... 4xHAG30 mech with GOOD quirks is a problem.

A lot of IS Quirks was done to compensate for IS-Tech, but then Gauss-Zilla was clan-tech, so I don't see why it came with gauss quirks in the first place.

Maybe if they added HAG heat reduction, would be neat HAG platform.

Well there goes HAGs.. Didn't last long huh. 6 secs plus nerf per shot really.. Its not that powerful. Best just to remove them again..

Sells better if mechs is a bit OP.

SR-4? Not sure why that mech needs quirks also but...

Yep sad to see OP weapon to be a bit more balanced.

None of the HAGs share weight and size with cUAC10
kdk-3

The hag 20 is the same weight and size as a C-LBX10 and C-AC10 however i'm pretty sure both fire faster, than the HAG 20 , especially after the patch and all Ac's for that weight are lower heat than the HAG by trading Any clan AC 10 for a hag you are trading slower fire rate for in the case of uac 10 a larger gun, for only 10 more damage and the HAG 10 has the potential to explode...

Well my experience as T1 player who played from 1st RHOD to Russ maintenance mod announcement Tier A comp. HAGs are very strong... at least twin 30, which I have played most of them.

Pretty easy to hit moving heavies/assaults @800 meters, @400 meters nailing lights and mediums is pretty easy.
Why wouldn't I hit is someone is shooting me? Gauss charge isn't that hard to learn.

So yes I'm agreeing that they are tigers that rip mechs like paper eez.

compared to what?
easy to learn, not hard to learn, pretty easy, that's not the point.
It's much more dificult and it takes longer doing dmg to a specific componet (and that's all what matters) compared with the other weapoans, esspecely a competitive level.
Y have to be on point, follow and calculate + a small time window cause of the charge. Btw,in this time y cant twist.

It is way more efficient to use Lasers or srm/Lbx/IS AC

A skilled LCT player with one LXPulse will rek you before y have finaly charged your HAG´s and hit him once.
It needs aroung 1s to charge, time to fire a full laser Alpa and run or twist out of the fire line.

Lights rush me all time when i play Hag´s,they dont fear.

On paper they die in one hit but not in game.

If i play SPL,MG,LBX etc they stay away. Why?

Dmg that takes to long to make or big spreat is not worth it

Its not about feeling, its simple math and fakts.

I was referring to the IS Ultra/10. The cUAC/20 had the DPS to be fine in comparison while the cUAC/10 has similar DPS potential at a smaller size and weight requirement. The IS Ultra/10 realistically only beat out the HAG-20 that it is 3 tons heavier than, but the HAG-30 that shares its 13 tons had the same DPS as the double tapping Ultra/10 with almost 2x the range.

...again not that hard, if your friends really are decent comp players it is not hard for them either.

Good luck killing stuff with those @ 800 more efficiently than HAGs

A skilled LCT player with longmid/long range weapons will defeat any ballistic build 1v1. Nothing new here.
Game is not balanced around Solaris that is already removed from the game except event queue.

Charging can be done while exiting cover and be ready to release when you actually can have LOS to something.
Standing on open area waiting to get shot is stupid.

Skill issue. In my experience everything dies.

New Mechbay lags hard on top of loading all my mechs, settles down after a few minutes.
I don't think this is worth the trees and lights making me wait it out

Same, keep getting ejected and can't return. Happened like 5 or 6 times already. Very unplayable like this.

Oh when reading about Centurion Arm actuator, i thought the right arm would now only be 1 slot used, so we could use Heavy Gauss and LBX20, but it's actually the left arm's LOWER arm actuator, right?

Clan lrms works on a new map. I will test IS tomorrow. The map is a Pac-Man map, so very short matches.
It is a joke, I was expecting more effort...
