I was Lokust on MPBT3025, MW3 and MW4, and PRJ2501 on MW2/Mplayer. In MPBT3025 I ran a small group of skilled DC warriors under the banner of the 1st Genyosha. It's been exciting to see the names of the top brass from that game show up here and I look forward to fighting alongside them again.

Hey all,

Can't wait for this to kick off. I started playing this when they had PODs in the game arcades with mechs. Too bad that crashed and burned, it was so much fun. MW2 and 3 and MC were all fun as well. The whole lore and MW universe was so awesome i can't believe it's taken so long for someone to see the market was and still is there.

Well, ever since I went up to Chicago, in the summer of 1991, to have an awesome time at the very 1st BattleTech Center, I was hooked to BattleTech. It’s also that since that very day, I fell and am still in love with the Vulture Mech :) .

I went on to play a wee bit of the table top game and enjoyed about every Title that was being made for PC (from MW up to MW4 including Mech Commander).

As for me being a fan boy of Kurita and the Draconis Combine, I think (tbh) at first I found the Dragon Roundel to be kick *** and the more I kept learning about House Kurita, the Draconis Combine, their heritage, their pride, the “way of the warrior”, it came clear that, given the chance, I would always side with House Kurita.

Regards

*chuckles* Mandark, I would like to introduce you to punctuation so you don't damage the eyeballs of your fellow Kuritans.

I don't think you need to be a "grammar major" to use periods, no more than you need to be an IT major to use a computer. ;) Seriously I try not to be picky, but a big long paragraph with no periods is very very hard to read, I just gave up.

I'm an IT consultant, and I'm fairly good with grammar. No excuse there.

Well, I was having a beer with a friend the other day and his son mentioned this cool game coming out based on Mechs ... had I ever heard of that. :D I have to admit it's been soooo long since I thought back on the days when I last played a multi-player mech game! Please bear with me as I attempt to reconstruct my memories, but it's been great to see some of ya'll from ... back in the day.

Once upon a time, I started out on BTech 3056 Muse as Irwin Tyrell running training for some unit called Wolf's Dragoons, moved over to Maeve Wolf at one point as Dr. Bob took over for Guzzer, Dixie and Lev, I think ...

Then moved on to 3025/3058 MUX playing as Andrew as faction leader for Steiner and Clan Ghost bear - again, piecing memories together, that was many beers ago. Please don't hold that against me :o

The game I remember best was MPBT 3025 where I was XO of Wolf's Dragoons who fought with HK lead by Tarl. That game was one of my favorite online experiences, and it's awesome to see so many folks from back in that era :) I remember Wolf taking us to DAoC and then Shadowbane after that game folded, in an unrelated tangent.

From there, just played the PC and XBox mechwarrior/commander/etc games. I honestly never thought with all the license issues surrounding the franchise that we'd see another iteration of this genre, and boy am I happy to be wrong!

Again, great to see so many names from the past!

I'm Fabulous. I'm a light pilot, my weapon of choice being, naturally, a Jenner. I took up Battletech about a year ago after GenCon, and I recognized a few of the mechs from MW games I had played when I was little. At that point I was hooked.

Unfortunately, do to terrible machines and an inability to find the games, I haven't touched any MechWarrior game for almost 6 years now, meaning that the last time I played I was 12.
This should be interesting.

Hi my name is Forscythe and I played MPBT 3025...

While only for a short period of time playing MPBT 3025 I was known under the callsign Phunbaba and fought alongside House Kurita. You may remember me but most likely not my stint was so short. After that I fell into withdrawals and played mech4 and various other Mechwarrior/Battletech games. No game seemed to quench my thirst for interstellar conquest though, so I fell into a deep dark place I cannot speak of to this day. Now a new hope has drawn me out of the darkness and into a battle mech. I hope that I can find a place in the house Kurita, if not I will redeem myself somehow, as a mercenary.

Hello everyone. I was introduced to MechWarrior 2 when I was in first or second grade (I am 22 now). Been in love with Mechwarrior, and most things that are of the "giant robot" genera ever since. The only games I have played are MechWarrior 2, MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries, a little bit of MechCommander, and very little of the MechWarrior "clix" tabletop game. Favorite mech.... Maraduer. Look forward to meeting everyone.

Good to see everyone. I use to run with SteelRat and Co. in MPBT. I have been playing Battletech games since Solaris, I played all the computer, xbox, and tabletop games. I have been biding my time since MPBT went under playing MMO's and FPS's. Lately I have been playing World of Tanks but I am really looking forward to jumping in a mech again and playing with you all <_< Now I just have to save a few dollars for a founder's pack...

I started playing tabletop long ago, played MW2, MC1, MC2. Have the complete collection of all the original FASA made novels.

Love the 3050 era and can't wait for the game to come out :)

Hello,

My call sign is Magnus. My first MW game was MW2 and Netmech with Kali back in the 90's. I played MW2, Ghost Bear's Legacy, MW2 Mercs, MW3, MW4 and all of its expansions as well as. Played in some of the MW2 leagues back in the Kali days but I couldn't tell you to save me what they were called.

Been a loooooooooong time since I've climbed into a mech cockpit but man oh man I can't wait to do it again!!!
