instead of "no-pilot", it would be fun to kill dirty cheaters whilst we test our mechs/weapons
Poetic Justice, from the "Best" to "Targets" , also a constant reminder to everyone
Ps: Gonna make a thread about it, thanks op

Good news indeed for those who intend to keep with this game and play clean matches.

Biggest tip for good aiming playing legit is turn down mouse sensativity in game to half and go from there.
I was hoping everyone that out scored me in the Orion chassis challenge would get banned. HAHA just kidding.
Too many players mistook this as being a continuation of your comment showing apparent sympathy for cheaters.

Go re-read your post!
Because most (or perhaps just a lot of) people only remembered your "I feel sorry for them post" they stopped paying attention to your argument at this point and and started getting annoyed at you.

Now could you please stop accusing me of things I didnt say. That goes for the other troll to.
By the way, I am glad your trolling me, someone else may be bothered by it or worse be given a negative outlook about these forums.
This is the part were most people stopped being annoyed at you and instead decided you were being a jerk.
You are sorry for the cheaters, we understand that, and very few of us agree with you on that count.
You were mistakenly perceived as continuing the sympathy thread by people that were quickly browsing the topic to get to the good parts.
You took great offense at that.
You drug argument on to the point of reducing sympathy for your side of the argument significantly.
Then you started insulting people that were trying to calm you down and bring the argument to a peaceful end.
You have 5 choices now:
1. Insult me for getting involved.
2. Let it drop.
3. Apologize to the people that were trying to be peacemakers.
4. Continue annoying people with this argument.
5. Edit your original posts to hide the evidence.

Reason i ask because its just like violence conditioning... if the group tacitly approves then there is more incentive to do it.
Example - i founded a unit and we tacitly approve trolling.

Please update the posted list of cheaters to include the unit they belonged to.
I can't remember the names of the pilots I suspected of cheating but I definitely remember the units I suspect of it. I would really like to know if my suspicions about certain units are correct.

DasaDevil here.
Yep, I cheated. I will openly admit to abusing the client and the game to do things I probably shouldn't have. I avoided comp teams after I dabbled into it, and moved on to casual play. Anybody that knows me will tell you that I up front stated that I didn't want to play in competitive leagues. This is the reason why.
Ask me any question you want now that I'm outed. I suppose I can call it a service if people want to know what it is from the other side.
Keep in mind, all I did was **** with textures in the client and play around with ESP's and changing HUD's around and all that to fool around with the game in the solo queue and do really really crazy **** that probably wouldn't have worked without all of this, but of course this is all heresay on my part so take it as you will.
Insults will be ignored but pile them on either way, I know I'm deserving of it, and I'm not going to be asking for my Wave 3 refund as a personal give-back to the community, or even forcing PayPal to give it back to (I very much could, easily.)

Thanks for posting this from there. He does talk about his hacks, but gets coy on specifics.

PGI does not need to specify to us what methods they used to confirm that a person was cheating as much as players may want to know how. This is because the more the $hitty cheater programmers know the greate the chance they may create a workaround. It really is a game of cat and mouse in this aspect.
Those 64 players were caught cheating and these were the absolute easily identifiable ones. I have complete trust in PGI on this one. Good bye cheaters - don't come back.
This is the first round of banning lists so PGI must be looking at other players to confirm their $hitty cheating habits. I am sure that it takes time for PGI to come to a conclusion against each player.
Take your time PGI, make sure you have them and give them the big Ban Hammer. We are better without these people, even if they spent some money on the game and I do wonder how many big names we will eventually see.
I am so glad that PGI has gone down this route.
If players are going to leap to the defence of identified cheating players then you are fighting a loosing battle and I doubt there will be many honest players here who will give you any compassion.
Cheers!
Eboli
